      if ever there was a player that shot himself in the foot, Melvin Gordon is the guy. His agent led him down the wrong path.

        Agree. The silver lining is the opportunity Gordon's holdout created for Austin Ekeler to establish himself as a legit back.

          MG is yet another example of most RBs being overpaid on their 2nd contract. The pool of rookie RBs coming in will continue to get deeper most years as time goes on.
          Some already saying this year's is the deepest class ever.

              Nice piece on Kyzir White in the LA Times. Second on the team in tackles for the Eagles. Played a 1 year deal for $3m. Said the Chargers never made him an offer to stay. Felt bad for the Chargers after the JaX game

                Our defensive-minded HC couldn't find a spot for KW (a championship level player) on this D.
                cheap contract too.
                I always thought the benefit of having a defensive genius was to produce more with less, not the opposite.

                        R.I.P Gary Brown, was a RB with the Chargers in 1997 with 945 yds. He passed in April 2022.
