Saints are pushing for Clowney. Not sure how they will fit him under the cap with having only $4m of space and are already way over for next year - but I have to say - appreciate the fact they realize Brees has only so many years and putting the pedal down . That bill is going to come due the year Brees leaves but if they win a title before he does - really won't matter.

Jason from OTC had a tweet yesterday how they would get the cap space. Like I said, I appreciate the fact they realize when Brees is gone he is a lot of dead cap (either $22m for one year or they split it over two years) - so why not try to get it. Hence, I am still wondering why the Chargers are not trying to sign a more veteran safety for depth. They have a good team.

I dont think we are looking for a safety. Im just wondering why you think we need to sign someones cut players while we have our 2nd rounder in Adderlly set to step up while Jenkins goes to SS. I sure feel better about Jenkins going there than when Teamer filled in there.

We do have 4 guys for our 3-DS packages Rayshawn, Nasir, DKing, & Alohi. No need to panic. Add Q. Meeks to our depth as a STer and 5th DS/6th CB.
Line’em up and let the young dudes play and gain experience.

get your pick of the players today and not in a few weeks
