Browns defensive end Myles Garrett wasn’t happy with the officiating on Thursday night.

Garrett said after the Browns’ win over the Broncos that he was held repeatedly and the officials failed to call the penalties. Garrett compared the situation to how hard it used to be for Shaquille O’Neal to get fouls in the NBA.

“The refs are kinda giving me the Shaq treatment right now,” Garrett said, via Camryn Justice of WEWS.

Garrett added that the refs will need to “get some new glasses” for him to get a holding call.

He's making $9.4 mil this season. A $30k fine is about a third of a percentage point of his gross. Like Bosa, he probably thinks the tradeoff is worth it for putting the spotlight on the problem. I think he probably appreciated Bosa biting the bullet a few weeks ago, and wanted to do the same.

But he is right. I see penalties on the friggin TV that arent called with a ref standing right there.
Last night they called a personel foul on a Cleveland defender for a facemask on Javonte Willliams while Williams ALSO was grabbing the defenders facemask. Should have been offset and i dont know why offensive players dont get called for a facemask. See it on stiff arms here and there.

If i were making his money, id take a fine for saying the refs suck.
