I view this trade as Ezra Cleveland plus a committee running back for Murray. Committee running backs are everywhere. So really its a starting OLT for a starting LB. We needed both so its a push.

And TT says that AL would have strangled him if he didn't get Murray. And I guess nobody stood up to demand an OT.

So Murray it is. And its nice to see the coaching staff focus on a player and demand he be drafted. He must be a perfect fit for the team.

Im thinking we miss the playoffs this season. Would be a pleasant surprise if Tyrod does well enough for us but we do ned one more LT, RB, WR and need to score more points. Just dont think we will be quite good enough this season to be a playoff team.

Good thing there is a draft every year...lol. Im fine losing Ingram and Hayward. Not that Hayward has been bad, he was a great signing but he can be replaced in a draft.....or another FA signing. I wont lose any sleep over losing Melvin.

Bosa, we will see. Would love to keep him but at what expense? Gotta pay him and letting Ingram walk helps do that.

yeah but the draft is a crap shoot and there are no guarantees we will hit like we have recently. Maybe we do maybe we don’t but we have a rare collection of young quality talent and they will want monster dollars moving forward, money adds up really quick when you’re paying superstars.

Murray is a beast. Top 10 guy for me. An ELITE IMPACT PROSPECT. No question worth the extra pick to secure him, imo.

The only quantity over quality debate. Personally, I wonder if there were a chance to trade back and still get Herbert. But just have to hope the pick is right, You have two good names but I think picks more likely would be OT and than RB or WR. I just do not see TE as a need.
