I am guessing TT really wanted to upgrade the QB room. Rightfully so..and He didnt want to take Simmons and then see Herbert and Love taken soon after. And not get one of the top prospects.

So he adds the future franchise QB.

Then he gets aggressive to go get another one of his top rated players Murray.

if he knew Love would be there at 23 and he could make that move. I think TT would have done that instead. But he didn't know that. And had to ensure he came away with one of the top QBs.

I will always wonder what our D would be like if we had picked both Simmons and Murray. But, let the new QB mature and we will see what we got.

Herbert has the physical tools to be successful, now if that intelligence they say he has shines though, he has the ability to be great.

I like this kid but we gave up any hope of landing an OT that can start when we shipped off the 2nd and 3rd.. I hope TT has a deal ready for Peters or Williams so we don't have Pip or Tevi as our starting LOT..

Murray is a sure tackler, something we haven't had at LB for awhile. His closing speed is out of this world.

Im happy with the murray pick. Hes a good linebacker. Idk about his coverage tho. kinda in ghe middle i would say

This was a very good trade for us, IMO. Finally a stud MLB prospect.

Love the player, not sure of when we took him, don't care if he's a solid starter for a half decade.
