Im thinking we miss the playoffs this season. Would be a pleasant surprise if Tyrod does well enough for us but we do ned one more LT, RB, WR and need to score more points. Just dont think we will be quite good enough this season to be a playoff team.

But we'll see. Dont think Cam is an option for us.

call me nutzo/crazy, and.... still have the sense that bringing in Cam would be a good idea !!

first off, if any of you are right that he's gonna command some crazy inflated dollar amount, then of course.... no deal, and.... really think $5m base salary is doable w/him.

Cam comes in knowing he's not the long-term answer, that he won't be starting, and that he needs to be part of and contribute to the culture here.

think he'd be good for AL in the clubhouse/locker room, and actually think he and Tyrod in combination would be really good for Herbert's development as a person and player, and the both of 'em will help round out Herbert's NFL welcome/experience, and....

given what lies ahead this season, and almost certainty of an aborted/shortened season, can't believe it would be the end of the world to carry the 4 QBs.

just really a fan of Cam's intangibles and think he has a lot to add to this org, and really helps usher in our SoFi chapter of Chargers football.

ps. coming to LA is good for Cam on a coupla few fronts.... he's not forced into starting right away and can make sure he heals as well as possible.... LA is somewhere he is obviously comfortable being, and prolly good for his brand short and long-term, and.... as mentioned before, suspect that he personally is going thru some shifts as a person and who he is, and to be in a place where he doesn't come in as Newton superstar, and is clearly relegated to the third wheel at the onset, could be really good for him personally, as well as professionally ??

seems the more eye read here, the more it sounds like his better fit, @least long-term is @MIKE and not so much WIL ??

which is good, cuz am personally a fan of Drue/Vigil @WIL, and....

Murray's game also sounds somewhat similar to Malik Jefferson's, and of whom Telesco seems to be penciling in @MIKE as well ??

agree, as am sure the Bolts had other players on their board, and.... this guy def seems like the one that was almost destined to be a Charger, and for better or worse.

Thats pretty funny. Cam will come here knowing he will sit behind Tyrod with a rookie taking over the next season?

I say NO WAY Cam does that :chuckle:....and no chance we will carry 4 QBs. Im not sure Stick will make the team to carry 3....possibly but no guarantee. He is PS elligible. And if you think they wont put him on the PS, then no chance we sign Cam without cutting Tyrod. 4 QBs is a no go!

Cmon beach, you know they arent going to carry 4 QBs. Last season was the first time in years they carried 3.

Murray is a beast. Top 10 guy for me. An ELITE IMPACT PROSPECT. No question worth the extra pick to secure him, imo.

Obviously we did not get Simmons but this kid has me about 99.5% as pumped and excited. I cant wait to see him do work along side of Tranquil. These two just turned our weak LB group into a position of strength in a year and a half.

I find it funny that some of the same guys who completely disagree with pundits who like the Burrow pick, will go out of there way to post they same pundits who support the Murray pick.

I really like what I've seen of this guy on film. Seems like a hard worker and a smart kid. Has all the physical characteristics.

I really hope he works out.
