First, offense/weapons: Pitts for the mismatch opportunities. Kelce has bailed Mahomes out so much this year, and Waller has had big games for LV. Athletic TE's are the future. Harris because teams that usually go to and win the SB, have good running games.

    9. Kyle Pitts TE, Florida
    41. Najee Harris RB, Alabama
    73. Walker Little OT, Stanford
    97. Rashad Weaver EDGE, Pittsburgh

Second, defense/trenches: I went with Cosmi for the upside/future (top 15 OT in 2022?), but insert your OT2 if you want. Quality DL trenchers and youth at CB. Play good D and give Herbert more chances with basically what he has now.

    9. Sam Cosmi OT, Texas
    41. Patrick Jones II EDGE, Pittsburgh
    73. Levi Onwuzurike DT, Washington
    97.Chase Lucas CB, Arizona State
Love the 1-2-3 for the offense in the first version...if we can actually pull off the 3rd round steal of Little...which I hypothesized in another thread also...cool idea if it works. But make no mistake anti-trenchers...we do need some talent influx to the oline...

Our defense needs help also, but if they show up with a healthy James and Tranquil...and our offense converts more 3rd downs and keeps them off the field....and we have a new and more effective DC and scheme...that could be all the defense really needs...to at least be much improved, and could afford to be neglected early in the draft.

So many ways we can go...
    Adopted Bolt: Kimani Vidal RB

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

I like Najee Harris but one thing that is concerning is he runs upright and in the NFL he will get hit more often than he does in college which can lead to injury. He isnt as strong as Henry. Thats my only neg on him.

I like this prospect a lot and project him to OT, whereas most say OG only.

I see position and scheme flexibility here.

Looks like 12th pick now with the win. Dallas winning but has a lower Strength of Schedule.

Yep, trade down option gets slimmer now.

                  Bye bye Slater too.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

LOL...I just realized if we win next week, we will be tied with the NFC east winner, but we won't have to trade draft positions with them each round...they will be picking with the rest of the playoff teams, lol...

Hell, it's technically possible for a 10 loss team to win the NFC east...and be picking 18th or later...

so now we are in the no elite cant miss players category........so our GM needs to really kniow what he is doing to pick, trade down, trade up, etc....

and worse yet, is odds are that we will beat a resting KC team with all or most of its star players restring.... so that will drop us to the late teens or 20 ish......might as well trade down then..... and get as many picks as poossible....

The bigger worry is that Spanos will likely keep Lynn or extend contract.....

sadly if we win again, we will be picking almost as far down as playoff teams...... lol
