Doubt we beat the Chiefs. I think their starters... Will start even if they don't play the whole game. If we lose and any of the other teams with 5 wins, win next week we can move up.

so now we are in the no elite cant miss players category........so our GM needs to really kniow what he is doing to pick, trade down, trade up, etc....

and worse yet, is odds are that we will beat a resting KC team with all or most of its star players restring.... so that will drop us to the late teens or 20 ish......might as well trade down then..... and get as many picks as poossible....

The bigger worry is that Spanos will likely keep Lynn or extend contract.....

sometimes, especially if they are taken by bad organizations with bad coaching...... look how many ex chargers are better players on other teams?? coaching is everything in football......

But when you are choosing in middle or later in the first round, it's more of a 50-50 deal but the top 5 universally can't miss positional players are closer to 80-90 percent hits.....
QB's are the exception because too many variables and desperation/shortage force teams to draft them higher than they should be...... otherwise you are left out.....
