I think he is such a well rounded young man who manages to always stay humble, hungry, and continues to grow.

As someone else has already mentioned, Marino only scored a 16, but regardless, he processed plays on the field very quickly and very early on in his career.
Herbert scored a 39, which was the second highest reported score last year. There was a rumor floating around that he scored a 25, but that was false.

Herbert scored a 25 and I've seen others state the same as well but this one says it was a 39. Not sure why the revisions.
Still, Fitzpatrick scored a 48 on his.
Herbert is already better at football but Fitz is a Harvard grad.

I edited my post above. Found the revision scores article. Not sure why it was revised but it don't matter.
          I believe Rivers had a 25 or 28 and Eli's was higher.

Rivers a better QB. Fitzpatrick a 48....all three better QBs lol. Tua a 19.

This is from the Tampa Bay Times, which suggests Herbert took the wonderlic test twice, so the 25 is from his first time taking it, while the 39 represents his retake.

”Quarterbacks Tua Tagovailoa of Alabama and Justin Herbert of Oregon, like many others, took the test twice: once during their junior pro days, and a second time at the NFL combine in February.”

I believe it. Some guys want better scores. You only get 12 minutes for 50 questions. Fitz finished his the fastest in 9 minutes and got the 48. Tua got a 13 then a 19.
Irrelevant as I've said. The links I posted talks about it.

One QB went up 14 points the other only 6 points. My friends we dodged a bullet by drafting Herbert! One QB learns the other is just a talented athlete.

Intelligence comes in a lot of flavors. I have a Bachelor's and a Masters. I've been employed in the Biosciences since college, and have made a good living. That being said, I really respect those who can farm, build a house, pour a foundation, plumb, and run electricity. Those are the people who get good side jobs on the weekend . I don't feel very bright next to people who can actually do things other than rattle test tubes.

I've taken the wunderlic before. I'll just say I scored higher than Herbert's lower score and leave it at that. :dunno: Herbert's second score, 39, is very impressive! 48 is ridiculous.

It doesn't mean anything, unless you think we should trade for Fitz and his 48 score. But fact is he isn't as good a QB and he is a 12-13 year vet.
A punter got a 50.... Who also was a Harvard Grad.

I do not disagree with this at all. I merely point out that I understand that a low score doesn't mean a player will be a bad player. But a high score indicates intelligence and that never, ever hurts.
