Jenkins numbers bested Brown in every category, even 1” taller & 2 lbs heavier, that you would think translate to arm length (-5/8”) and hand size (-3/4”). Reason why that is more important to a LT is all about hand placement and reach to control in pass pro. Have no doubt from a run heavy offense he could hold up, but Chargers are still going to be a pass heavy air-Staley offense.

Teven Jenkins comp is, oddly enough another Charger and former Packer Brian Bulaga. Jenkins has slightly longer arms 33 1/2” to Bulaga 33 1/4” hand size 9 1/2” to 9 1/4”. Every other category Jenkins blows Bulaga numbers out both in explosion, strength and quickness. Attitudes seem to match up fine. Brian Bulaga drafted 23rd overall in 2010.

Big advantage here for Slater after crunching all his numbers, despite his arm length only 33” is that his hands more than make up for it being 10 1/2”. With his plus quickness he is able to get inside and under the pads and control with those hands and strength using technically sound fundamentals. He could not only play LT and be solid in the run game but be able to protect Herbert in pass pro, maybe even better than Sewell.

I am not the best when it comes to OL but to me hand size for a OL is irrelevent. 9""- 10", dont matter to me. Its all about hand placement and slapping arms away and getting a hand on shoulders so 10" hands dont make up for anything imo. Its not like big hands is good for a WR thing. I dont see Slaters big hands making up for lack of arm length, i see his feet doing that.

What matters to me is foot work, agility, arm length and height and you dont want a slight weight OT either.

Joe Thomas had 32.5" arms but good agility like Slater. Ill take 33" arms and good agility over 35" arms with slow ass feet. I am surprised Orlando Brown jr is doing pretty well as he is slow as molasses with 35" arms. A lot of OTs with slow feet and longer arms havent done so well so you just never know. Fluker didnt pan out.

            It is very unlikely.
He has multiple documented concussions and medically retired for a short period in 2019. The unknown of how teams have him medically evaluated is the only hope. Based on talent he is a top 10 prospect.

Size does matter, helps you gain better grip to win leverage.

                Exact same as Walker Little.

*I don’t think his birthdate is correct though.

Hmmm... Joe Thomas also had an ACL injury prior to the draft. Little could be the Chargers surprise pick. I’m curious how this board will react if Sewell/Little are both on the board and the Chargers pick the latter.

It took me awhile to find his arm arm length but I did find it. I just didn't post a link. I had heard a long time ago he had shorter arms and I found where It said 32.5". That one you ha e is wrong. Clearly he wasn't born in 1963

Re signature, I see you’re going with max upside
if Farely and Phillips reached their ceiling ....

                      on the SAME D!?!

                        Indeed.
Derwin, Bosa, K9, Farley, and Phillips would make for a dominant D.

Having Walker Little maybe as an option at LT behind Sewell or Slater wouldn't I am drafting him at 13. Maybe lower in the first round or for sure mid second round
