There are Campen Special's I am seeing.

    Christensen BYU for starters. Rd4.

That said, I would not even care that we gave up too much,
should we trade up for Sewell.
We do not play modern football.

Chase is a really safe pick.
saw a (reputable) mock the other day w/Creed at the top of the second, and.... Trey Smith has been called a top five talent (by some) who may last 'til our slot in the second ??

and not wholly against an all world wideout if that's what they are, and.... think I'd still prefer a trade down this year to recoup draft capital, albeit risky w/team Tommy John's track record drafting lower than higher.

So....a little early, but I guess I will play. Under the assumption that each week we post is based on where we are currently at in the draft order, so 6th? I do not see it being out of the realm of possibility that Sewell will be there...he is my number 1. One thing we are not hurting for, IMO, is offensive playmakers. Pass on WRs and TEs at 6. Here is my Charger's Board for us picking at 6, needing only 4 players since Lawrence and Fields will be picked before us.

          Penei Sewell OT
          Micah Parsons LB
          Gregory Rousseau Edge
          Patrick Surtain II/Caleb Farley CB

I really don't see us picking that early...but if we are, as disappointed in the season as I will be...I sure wouldn't be disappointed with any of those players...
          Adopted Bolt: Kimani Vidal RB

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

curious as to who you see as value picks that might be available to us either day one or two ??

RB Chuba Hubbard * not sure what it is, and something just clicks most every time eye come across this guy
WR Rashod Bateman/Terrace Marshall * how long are these two gonna last.... could we sneak one of these guys onto our roster ??
LEO Kwity Page * if there was ever someone to spell SupaMel for us, can't imagine it not being this guy, albeit the one consideration is he a better athlete than football player ??
WIL Jabril Cox * a coverage LB in round three ?? would he still be there for us, and would you take him over a lineman ??
CB Eric Stokes * still of the mind to take care of my biz on the Oline first, and then hope this guy is there early second....

Sewell, Rousseau, trade down, Parsons would be my four....

Gregory is a red shirt sophmore.... if he is trending up for the next coupla few years, he could be an awful good value, even in the top five.

and would still rather wait a year for Palaie Gaoteote, as like both him and Denzel and a trade down, before going w/Parsons.

Sewell, hands down, would make the best Charger.

I'm hoping Hayward and Mel bring us 4th round comp picks.
Casey’s contract runs through 2021with about a $10 million CAP hit.

Cosmi has a ton of technical issues, lack of any power, but is very athletic. He is a project with high upside.

I worry about Rousseau because of only 1 season, albeit a great season, of production.

Casey has been the bargain of the Century.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Agree. He is the most consistent and durable CB we have.
