Would tend to agree, with my little add on...a penetrating/disruptive type 3-Tech is a huge commodity. Everyone wants the next Aaron Donald...

        Adopted Bolt: Kimani Vidal RB

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

          Special talents transcend position.
Aaron Donald is a pass rusher, he just does it between the tackles.

            PFF.
As stated, it is PFF's against-the-grain opinion that DBs have higher value than EDGE rushers, or just about any other position outside of QB.
Aaron Donald is a unique case.

I can see that but I rarely agree with PFF anymore even though the new mock I’m posting shortly has a CB in round 1. Lol

The trade down is always a win.
I went crazy the other day at The Machine, trading down several times...got 6 of the Top 100.

If we pick say 16th and our board has prospects with overall rating as follows......
                    LB #4, CB #6, EDGE #11, IOL #15, and OT # 19
                    who do you pick?
IOL but soon as the hype train comes for a LB I might be all in.

Updated projection with current draft slots, projected comp 3rd, and extra 6th from the King trade......

                        1) CALEB FARLEY - CB - VT - RJR - 6’2” / 207# - True shutdown CB who excels in a variety of coverage techniques, long, exceptional speed (4.3s) to carry WRs downfield, fluid mover with exceptional COD/agility, BALLHAWK with ballskills (6 INTs - 19 PBUs over 2 seasons), WR convert, instant acceleration to plant/break on ball, combative at catch point, excellent understanding of route concepts, slow plays long developing routes to bait QBs, uses both 1 & 2 hand jam techniques, quality open field tackler, short memory/confidence abounds, uses sideline as a defender, needs to be more physical in edge run support.

                        2) LIAM EICHENBERG - OT - ND - RSR - 6’6” / 310# - 3 year starter @ OLT that has faced top opposing talent and dominated. Plays a physical, technically refined, aggressive brand of football from snap to whistle. Excellent kickstep that gains ground vertically, powerful punch, uses great angles to achieve assignments, solid contact balance through LOS trash, athletic enough to reach 2nd/3rd levels and perform in space, engulfs 2nd/3rd level defenders, plays with nasty finisher’s mentality, outstanding grip strength, wins at POA with leverage/punch/grip strength/hip torque (needs more lower body strength development to improve drive power), punch location a bit inconsistent but improved every year. Hasn’t allowed a sack in last 20 games.

3A) CHARLES SNOWDEN - LEO/OTTO - UVA - SR - 6’7” / 245# - Incredible H/W/S combo, just scratching the surface of his potential , leader and team captain, length for days, big time motor, sets strong edge using length/quickness, relentless backside pursuit, learning zone coverage drops ( double digit PBUs), offers position versatility, disrupts passing lanes, bends then 90 degree flattens which special for his size, bend/agility/COD/burst are all elite special traits, starting to fill out frame (260#-265# projected in 2 yrs), limited passrush arsenal, inconsistent as a pass rusher but solid YOY improvement (multiple multi sack games), needs strength/muscle mass addition, tremendous wrap up/drive tackler.

3B) ROBERT ROCHELL - CB - UCA - RSR - 6’1” / 197# - Insane athletic package in big physical perimeter CB. Athletic measurables which include a 4.38 40-yard, 41-inch vertical jump, 140-inch broad jump, and 3.98-second short shuttle time. Possesses long arms, aggressive/physical play style, impact quality tackler, BALLHAWK (10 INTs - 38 PBUs), uses strength/length to disrupt routes at LOS/breaks/TOR, impact recovery speed, solid route recognition (needs more coaching to achieve a higher understanding of route tree nuances), confident with very short memory, competitor, huge motor, level of competition is only true ?.

                          4) TAMORRION TERRY - WR - FSU - JR - 6’4” / 210# - Incredible H/W/S/A profile that translate to major on flied production even with lack of quality QB play.. Big and fast (low 4.4s), tremendous body control/contact balance, high points ball and wins jump ball contests, produces explosive plays vertically and through RAC, finds the end zone, burst/hands/agility beat press, uncanny ball tracking skills, physical at LOS & TOR, little stiff with 90 degree breaking routes, incomplete route tree, strong/soft hands but has concentration lapses, shows good blocking fundamentals and determination, ultra competitive, makes impact/scoring plays, minor injuries in 2 separate seasons. Top 50 talent.

                          5) DIVINE DEABLO - DS/DLB - VT - RSR - 6’3” / 225# - Multi-positional athlete with size/speed(low 4.5s)/length/physicality and ballskills (4 INTs/3 FF), team captain and leader, tough physical hitter that really explodes through ball carriers, uses length to close passing lanes and enhance tackling radius, effective blitzer, understands zone concepts/responsibilities, can man-up TEs/RB/big WRS, defeats blocks with length/power/speed, impressive closing burst, needs to continue to work on staying in phase in M2M, enforcer mentality who is always around the ball, plays both FS/SS, has range but best closer to LOS/2 deep. Love his size, speed combo to play in sub packages and ST.

6A) ORLANDO UMANA - OC/OG - UU - SR - 6’4” / 320# - Truly a big nasty! Plays with intensity, desire, grit, determination, power, intelligence, and aggression as the game should be played. Umana is a team captain/leader, beast in the run game with his drive power, impact hand strikes, phenomenal grip strength, hip torque power, uproots defenders, no issues getting to 2nd levelquality footwork and quickness, excellent blocking angles, ability to pull/fold/combo/and get to 2nd level. In passpro he has an unmovable deep anchor when he resets, strong punch (location consistency needs improvement), strong footwork technique, high football IQ allows for making protection adjustments/identifying blitz scheme/movement skills to adjust inside or out free runners, makes for impressive moving wall in zone run concepts.

6B) CARY ANGELINE - TE - NCST - RSR - 6’7” / 250# - Tall athletic pass catcher that can lineup inline/slot/wide, fantastic hands, huge catch radius, excels at highpointing balls, true redzone weapon, really solid hands catcher of the football, vertical seem threat, hard to bring down in open field, produces RAC, great body control, high football IQ, nuanced route tree/stems, uses size to box out defenders to give QB accessible middle of field target, inadequate blocker that must improve upper/lower body power/strength to be effective in the NFL, takes bad angles on many blocking attempts, not explosive but has build up speed.

7). Khyiris Tonga - DT - BYU - SR - 6’4” / 325# - Agile, physical big man with insane natural power in both upper and lower body, leader and team captain, offers value on all 3 downs, power rusher with counters, ability to collapse pocket or beat IOL 1on1, holds gap on moving zone runs, powerful hand strikes that dislodge Olinemen, when loses leverage doubles uproot him, ideal build/length/power, excellent laterally agility with decent length to keep gap integrity, works combo stunts inside or on perimeter, disruptive when allowed to penetrate upfield, needs to learn to grab dirt when loses initial leverage battle.
