I get that if Sewell and Slater are gone he might be the pick at 13 but I cant help but think he is more of a mid-20s, non-elite type of guy.
If he is even still on the board #13. I’m not worried about that aspect anymore. He’s going to come into the NFL ready to prove himself, your going to get at least four maybe five years to figure out if want to invest 120 million over the next five years, based off his Charger tape. Take the discount now and roll with it.

yup. Consider ourselves lucky if he’s there at 13.

Ohhh-kay. You gonna tell us what he said or send us on a wild goose chase to go and find it?

Definitely a safe pick if we’re talking player.
He’d step in at guard and be a rock for 10 years.

Not sure it’s a safe pick if we’re talking team.
              We’d still need a LT.

I like AVT a lot....in fact, I didn't mean to leave him out of my cluster, gonna go edit that shortly, but....hard to focus on him, cuz he is definitely a guard. Doesn't mean we shouldn't take him...just a tougher pick to make with CB and LT such glaring needs.....in Casserly's mock, would have a hard time passing on Horn though...got him rated above AVT....but my ratings do have some need flavor to them...had we signed a solid journeyman CB instead of Fieler, I would have AVT above Horn...they are both really good prospects.
                Adopted Bolt: Kimani Vidal RB

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

I believe Casserly is suggesting he is Isaiah Wynn at LT. Stud OG if he ends up there. But i think he is suggesting we give him a chance to prove he can play LT. Slater was sort of my Wynn comp.

Here is a nice AVT mock...wouldn't hate him at 13, but this works better with a trade back...Chicago or WFT looking QB.

                    1. AVT OG USC
                    2. Jevon Holland Safety Oregon
                    2b.Walker LIttle OT Stanford
                    3. Ifeatu Melifonwu CB Syracuse
3b. Tommy Tremble TE Notre Dame
                    4. Bobby Brown III DT Texas A&M
                    5. Jordan Smith Edge UAB
                    6. Simi Fehoko WR Stanford
                    6b. Josh Ball OT Marshall
                    7. Christian Uphoff S Illinois State

Sorry I don't think your concerns hold much water. If this guy is lazy and doesn't work hard please explain how he's gone from a two-star recruit to a 3-year starter in the ACC, including as a freshman and showed vast improvement year over year. He excelled against the conference with by far the deepest set of pass rushers while maintaining over 7 yards per carry to his blocking hole in the run game. Very few penalties, very few pre snap penalties (both show on field discipline), few sacks few hits few pressures. I personally think people are not giving enough credence to the differential of quality of whom he was blocking into account nor how much he dominated them.

LOL. The problem is that it's Casserly who I happen to agree with.
