In his senior season in high school, Micah Parsons was a two-way player: defensive end & running back. He rushed for 1,239 yards and 27 touchdowns.

He also clocked a 4.66 forty-yard dash his senior year of high school.

Is he a LB or a 4-3 DE as the Chargers need a 4-3 DE

      Yes to both lol

DE is a bigger need but needs to add 10 lbs which shouldnt be hard. We just need playmakers. There are a few at #4 id like to have but LT is the biggest if we can get him. Maybe the Bungles draft a WR or a CB.

Very true. I get it - the Chargers just need better football players. But you are right, but LT and another OL seem to be so much more of a need - that its really not close. And I am a BPA guy - but for this year, just two solid OL that can play for you would be ideal from the draft. And if Telesco is making the picks and wants to go WR in the 3rd round - well thats doable. But Telesco or the GM needs to nail down that OL. Keep trying...

true, but if draft breaks that way, we also need an every down, dominating great LBer like Seau was and Parsons is that or close to that and also BPA..... Parsons is a great LBer and spectacular pass rusher straight up or blitzing..... maybe our new DC will want a 3-4 scheme or a hybrid of some kind that would require blitzing LBers? Actually, the best pass rushes and best defenses today blitz the majority of the time .....
No chance that CIN will take a WR(they have great WR's).....

We need to grab a top CB in FA..... best place to find them like Bellycheat does and Reid did and Ravens did....finds vets who already know NFL game ..... college CB's are very hard to project....and need time to learn.......our current best CB was a vet FA find.......

Our current best CB was an UDFA. Showcase is not our best anymore. Torch has passed to MDavis, who’s up for a new contract.

Or trade down. My biggest hope for this season is that they win a game. Maybe to a team wiped out by Covid.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

OL and Edge. Is he a superstar edge rush specialist, or an all around great LB. Because we just drafted a 1st round “all around” LB

Parsons is a great player, no doubt. But if you add a positional importance factor on his rating, he drops a few spots. He’s just not a fit for the Bolts this year.

                    I lean this way
Very plausible that we regret passing on Parsons
but it’s a calculated risk based on PON

Don't really know if he fits us, true...and we won't know until we get a new DC, and see what kinda scheme he is gonna bring.

3-4 or Bradley scheme, Parsons is an OLB or LEO
4-3 you take Rousseau opposite Bosa at end

This is all in the event Penei is gone, of course...still not convinced the Bengals don't trade out, and we get a shot at the kid.

Let's hope Fields wins the championship...or looks damn good losing it.
Let's also hope Trask wins the Heisman.
Mad run on QBs...it's gonna happen IMO, and either Penei or a lucrative trade deal is gonna fall in our laps.
                      Adopted Bolt: Kimani Vidal RB

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

I am okay passing on Parsons, Rousseau, Surtain, the Va Tech CB, Chase and Waddle if the decision is to trade back and get OL in Round 1 (plus other picks) if Sewell is off the board. I am good with it. If the Chargers could draft "Jim Lachey" -- I would be happy.

If possible trade down to get more picks and draft OL. But TT might have to consult someone for that kinda info.
