There are a lot of good CBs in this draft, and some
will be available at 47. That said, I like going BPA amongst positions of need. I think an OLT at 13 or 47 is something of a must. But with the other pick, there are a lot of potential options. If we get an LT at 13 and Freiermuth slides to 47 (which I doubt), he’s worth considering. Same thing with one of the OGs like Wyatt Davis (imagine going Slater at 13 and Davis at 47!). I’d also consider one of the edge rushers or safeties. CB is the biggest need after LT, but if they like someone a lot better at another position at 47, I say go with that player.

There is a plethora of secondary talent in this draft and Staley is just the guy to coach em up so can wait 2nd/3rd rounds. Not sure who the LT messiah in the room is for the Chargers? Lombardi maybe, I don’t know, sure it’s not Telesco but someone is advising or helping him in free agency so that’s a good sign.

What if you could get a player @#47 that was both a safety and a CB...?

        1st: LT Slater/Darrisaw
        2nd: S/CB/NCB Elijah Molden
        3rd: Paulson Adebo
        3rd: Janarius Jenkins/Elerson Smith

          Janarius Robinson?

If that’s who you meant then I freaking love your 3 round draft strategy. Probably cuz it looks identical to mine.
Our quarterback is a golden god.

            Slater/Davis is my dream.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

              LOL! Yes. Janarius Robinson.

That would be SWEET! Fits right in with the new Staley position flexibility model...

So many versatile defenders in this draft. BS/TT should have a field day!

This is one of the first drafts where I feel confident that we'll get starters and depth rounds 1-7.

jamar Johnson is Brett Kollman’s biggest sleeper although he admits isn’t much of a sleeper at all
modest speed and vertical but sneaky deception
                      and versatile

I’d love it, but then the concern is the defense. That said, fix the line, protect Herbert, and then work on the D over a couple years. In that time, keep Herbert safe and upright.

                          Thanks 21,

I haven't watched any Johnson... nice player! The safety class is deep.
