Not hardly. Coaches get fired for the result much more often than GMs

Yep, that was a big panic-pick by TT in 2017. Most of us fans were thinking WTF on this pick.

I just meant that MW>Palmer comparisons are probably true but they had different price points.

Oh, duh, wasn't reading between the lines. Watching the Super bowl took a lot out of me.

Both DL groups were the best unit on their team. LAR punted a whole lot. So did the Bengals.

There is no Aaron Donald in this draft. I like my mid round value picks at Dline/EDGE, especially when adding them to our existing roster.
I felt Donald was too light, boy was I wrong
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Yes but some here think Palmer was drafted to replace MW.

He won't be doing that but looks like he will be a good WR.

I liked the pick and so did some others at the time. He wasn't my first choice,....but he was in my cluster.

Because of today's rules, there is no such thing as great defense....... (All the great defenses in history have been able to hold, abuse, and rough up receivers and QB's but that is not allowed today) ....the best a Defense can do today is keep you in the game....clutch QB play wins championships...... bad OL's (and bad coaching decisions) make great QB's look less than great and cause them to lose.... Defenses do not win you championships but bad defenses can lose you championships and usually keep you from making the playoffs, especially when they cannot stop the run.....
