not sure why people want to blame the defensive failure all on TT. Staley wasn’t hired in August. He was hired in January which is plenty of time to evaluate the roster prior to FA and the draft.

Yep, but this doesn't fit the predetermined narrative that Staley sucks and his bad coaching is the sole reason we missed the playoffs by a game.

If decision-making counts as coaching, Staley is responsible for the Chargers missing the playoffs. Two drives were stopped inside the five yard line against the Chiefs because STALEY wanted a TD. If the Chargers kick a FG on either drive, the game would not have gone to OT and the Chargers would have been in the playoffs.

If anything, I remember being excited about this defense before the start of last season. We had mad chatter about being a top tier defense. It apparently didn’t happen, so now heads must roll.

We need to get solid depth and ppl who like to tackle. It will happen, we just have to wait.

Exactly. Staley was neither perfectly right or wrong.
IMO LAC's 2020 was a learning experience for everyone.
I give plus marks for OL. We've been terrible their for years. Now we're not.
..And our young QB is a Major Stud Gunslinger. It was nice to establish that fact.

There is a lot on Staley. There is even more on Telesco. This off season, no excuses.

I'm way past slapping "Kick Me" signs on anyone's back. This is our best roster in years. We beat the AFC Champs. Herbert set a lot of records.
TT & Staley are getting their 1st post Chargers season together with decent cap room.
I know what I think they should do in FA & the draft but won't pitch a hissy if they make different choices.
It's all about the Ws. Show me Chargers!
