Walker has played in diverse roles, from 1Tech to Kick Coverage.
    He is a speed-to-power guy.
The Bulldog scheme did not have Travon flying on pass rush off the snap.
Sometimes he is a little slow to find the football.
But he is plenty twitchy to compensate for that.
We need this guy's non stop backside pursuit for our run defense.

Even if Nwosu is back DE is a high priority I think. Would like to see him and Joey (concussions/injuries) play fewer snaps and be fresher in the 4th.
Walker or Karlaftis would add much needed runstopping power to the edges on 1st down. Move Walker inside on passing downs when Nwosu comes in. Rumph is guy 4.

Again, Protecting Herbert and running right is a priority.
Current 3 man cluster is Penning/Walker/Karlaftis

Good call on Karlaftis. He’s another guy who can fit that inside/outside DL flex roll. Theres 2 other guys in this draft that fit that mold: Leal and Cameron Thomas.

        Among those 4 guys:
        1. Karlatis
        2A. Leal
        2B. Walker
        3. Thomas

Our quarterback is a golden god.

That’s right. UGA mostly played with 3 down linemen and 1 guy standing up. Of the guys with their hand in the dirt, Walker was the DE.

Cameron Thomas was in a similar situation. He played DE in a 3-3-5 base defense. But he can stand and rush too (see SDSU “Ghost Package”).

I definitely like these guys for us.
            Logan Hall of HOU too.

              Yup.

A good call is Hall. Though I would have liked to see him work from the outside more often. He seems like an undersized DT with a good swim move.

Absolutely..... If Penning is the pick at 17 Cam Thomas looks like the guy who might be there in round 2

                  Absolutely. Bigger, stronger, nastier, grittier.

The Bucs did it with their OL & DL.

                  It seems to work.

Channing Tindall beats Ken Murray in camp. Each of those three Bulldogs has spent time in Kirby Smart's pro 'stunting-blitzing' scheme with overload principles, and flourished. These guys are going to be ready to produce at a high level right out of the box.
Love the trade down with Jerry Jones here. Who would you have him trading up for? When I mentioned this in another thread I thought Williams or Burks to give them 3 elite WRs.

Imagine lining up Bosa and Walker on the same side and running stunts and games. It would create havoc for OL schemes because both are stout and quick. Both can bullrush, defend the run, or drop into coverage as well. A heavy DL can clog the middle while Nwosu gets 1 on 1s on the other side.

I probably missed one or two. Not too many people.
eye wanna take a look @WR, as thinkin' that if I'm Tom Telesco, I still need to hit another home run, and even tho I've gone back 2 back hall of famers the last two drafts, and.... question is: who is the star outta this draft that slots @17 ??

personally suspect the most likely guy is Jameson Williams, and given his ACL injury, what are the chances that he lands @17 ??

resigning MW is prolly gonna cost $15m or so, which personally eye think is about 50 percent too much, and am under the impression that if we tag him, the price is even higher.... ??

ten or 15m brings in a FA or coupla few, and.... gotta say we wouldn't have to worry about MW's nagging injuries, or whether he's gonna show up big in a game or not really show out ??

will also add that there is a possibility that team Tommy John thinks they have enough on the Oline, save perhaps for replacing the Q ??

is there a bigger difference maker in this draft, and what are the chances that said player will make it to 17 ??

if our O is lacking any one thing, it is a longballer to match the Rocket Man.... not throwing deep is near criminal given who we have @QB.

Jameson is a three level deep threat.... he is a speed merchant that regularly takes the top off the D.... he is clutch and comes up big in big games.... the idea is to get the ball in his hands.

he is similar to MW, in that some surmise he will have fewer receptions, but for big YPC.... his compare is Henry Ruggs, and dude is still an underclassman, so his ceiling is still yet to be tapped.

he is sudden and can flip the field in the blink of an eye, and yet he is not just a one trick pony, as he is a well rounded receiver w/plenty of attributes outside of his long speed.

his cautionary tale is that he is unlikely to be your bread 'n butter in the quick passing game, and that his hands and catching ability are in question @times, which could be a large concern given the heat that Herbo throws.... he is also of a slighter frame which could raise the concern of being more susceptible to injury, and as some peoples have observed, may have trouble sustaining blocks.

there is also the question, as to was he a backup for a reason to Olave and Wilson @OSU, and even tho he may be a hellah kick returner and STer, is that where you use your 17 overall ??

bottom line is that he is a productive downfield threat that will keep defenses honest over the top, and give more room for Keenan and Palmer to work underneath.

really like his intangibles and sense that he has a solid mindset and some fire in his belly.... he could really add a dimension to our O, and help us make fuller use of Herbert's long range capabilities.
5/11 Fuaga, 37 Kamari Lassiter, 40 Sinnott, 67 Bralen Trice, 69 Cedric Gray, 105 Jaylen Wright, 110 Braelon Allen, 140 Joe Milton, 181 Khristian Boyd, Tylan Grable, 225 Daijun Edwards, 253 Miyan Williams

Any receiver chosen at #17 in this draft better be a future star: this, & the ACL injury, would take him off my board there.
Jeudy so far somewhat of a flop because of the dropsies....and Denver has other guys they can go to.
