      Want a blocker? Get Washington.

      Want a weapon? Get Kincaid.

      Want both? Get Mayer.

      Class dismissed....

In his latest top 100, Dane Brugler has moved Luke Musgrave all the way up to #27 overall.

I am looking forward to how things play out at the Combine.

The idea of mismatches In the intermediate area and downfield interests me, and I believe it does Kellen Moore too.

MW, Musgrave, Ekeler and a Faulk-like RB would be the players.

Kinkaid would replace Everett, I presume. There would not be much blocking at all with that, as well as a continued lack of enough of a deep threat.

It is agreed that Kinkaid is a good prospect. He plucks well (a LM weakness) and definitely creates separation. These are two different prospects.

I would go with one of several midrounders over Mayer, Washington, but they are good too. These are all excellent prospects.
We do not play modern football.

Gates wasn't a good blocker and we ran the ball just fine and prospered from his catching and ability to get open and great in the RZ . Wasn't a deep threat either. Neither was Gronk and frankly neither is Kelce.

The three (Mayer, Kincaid, Musgrave) TEs are are pretty good.
It's just for me, I think Kincaid overall brings more. 3rd down guy, chain mover, best hands, would be fine on the seam routes.

Neither is a road grade blocker which may be Washington but he lacks other traits that the team needs as a TE #1.
Miss out on these guys, it's Bowers in 2024 and keeping Everett this year.

As much as I'd like a new toy for JH at TE, I'm not sure that position is our greatest need.
If we can grab a good pass catcher( remember, we wasted a 3rd on McKitty a few years ago to inline block) late, then so be it
Everett was a solid contributor last year. Is he under contract next year?

About 10 TEs can be expected to be impressive in Indy, in a variety of ways. We might go for a dominator early, or we can wait for value.

That’s a no brainer. We already have McKitty that drops passes on our roster.

Everett is under contract for 2023. He will cost $8M. We have so many needs that we can go in many different directions.
Cutting Everett will save $4M. A lot is going to depend on getting under the cap by March 15th.

Everett is a decent TE, nothing special. We want help at a higher level. Our division has Travis Kelce, Darren Waller setting the standard we need to play at. Fouts had Winslow, Rivers had Gates. Herbert has Everett. C'mon man!

I think Everett is better than decent, he made a lot of money grabs for us last season, including some timely YAC. Like to see him in an all healthy line up.

Everett is a very frustrating player to watch. He can look really good at times and completely disappear at other times. I would not mind him back but we can do better.
