LB.... checkin' out your clustas, and.... just can't get behind any of the top centers, as the only guy that even remotely seems Chargers to me is Olusegun Oluwatimi, and.... as my guy there is still Eli Cox.

Overlooked on purpose...limited athlete. As far as Eli, not sure he is ready for the big lights, and if Linsley is gonna miss 4 or 5 games a year, or hang them cleats up for good, Id like a more polished understudy/replacement. Sedrick Van Pran is another guy I like, if his or Shmitz football IQ holds up in interviews, Im buying now. My gut tells me Linsley isnt long for this game, especially if he suffers another concussion, along with his chronic knee issues...but I could be wrong.
            Adopted Bolt: Kimani Vidal RB

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

I see athletic limitations with Schmitz.

              And good processing with Patterson.

Linsley will play several more years is my guess.

A bigger Nick would be useful.

I've liked Patterson for a while now. He'll probably go in the 4th round range.
The guys I keep coming back to are Cody Mauch and Jordan McFadden, though.
Mauch has been sneaking onto people's radar. I believe he eventually becomes a 4th round pick.
McFadden has stayed under the radar... probably his body build @OT. I think his spot eventually is at guard.

LOL...I spelled Schmitz wrong...I knew the correct spelling, but my brain keeps rejecting 4 consonants in a row...tries to autocorrect...and my brain isn't even a very good speller!!

Have to agree to disagree about Patterson vs Schmitz...but would love it if you are right about Linsley...even 2 more years would tickle me to death.

                        1) DT Bryan Bresee over OG O'Cyrus Torrence * if this guy is on the board when we draft, would guess we'd give heavy consideration to a five man front
                        2) NT Siaki Ika over TE Dalton Kincaid * hate to pass on the pass catching TE, but just don't have many chances at a bona fide NT
                        3) ILB Noah Sewell over DT Calijah Kancey and OG Cooper Beebe * the more naysayers the mo' bettah, as personally think this guy is just what our D needs
                        4) CB Julius Brents over RB Israel Abanikanda * risky pick here, but chances are we won't be able to afford Mike D. when he comes up for renewal
                        5) OC Eli Cox * just think this is the best guy for us and could end up being tremendous value down here
                        6) OT Connor Galvin * right now we are Pips, Sarell and Storm for OTs 2-3-4, and think it wise, not to mention an imperative to have a replacement in the mix
                        7) CB Cameron Brown over ED YaYa Diaby and RB Camerun Peoples * would love to have some extra picks here, but not willing to pass on the injury risk that is a top shelf corner otherwise
                        8) DT Dante Stills, OG Henry Bainvalu, ILB Palaie Gaotete IV, RB Ulysses Bentley IV, ILB Drake Thomas, WR Justin Shorter * depth pls

Lol...I can see we are gonna butt heads this year...I think healthy, our interior dline is fine...now, if the value is there, I could see a DT in the first couple picks...but back to back? If your gonna snub Herbie, and go heavy on defense, at least gimme some Edge!! Rumph just has not materialized...your sig says you like Verse....

Smartt is an interesting wrinkle...if we see good stuff from him in our remaining games, maybe we pass on tight end...but while this years WR crop is thin at the top, it is rich in shifty, speedy guys...and that is a tool I want to add to the box, and before day 3.
