Fuaga.... who didn’t give up a sack in his entire college career.
and then this from the same source/paragraph....

While his run blocking still requires some refinement, Fuaga has the basic tools to be an effective contributor within a settled offensive line.
Fuaga.... posted outstanding explosiveness numbers for his size.

This is why we don't draft Alt at #5, wasted pick IMO, too many guys like this in the 3rd to 4rth round range that aren't going to bitch about being moved to RT...This is the one year you don't need to go top ten for a quality RT...

Spend that 6.25mil on useful vets. Now you turned your worst ROI Offense line player into 3 players. 2 now and 1 later.

And you draft OT high. Rd1 or Rd2 if the prospect is in the BPA group on your board.

Call the Raiders they need a RT right now and TT is the GM over there...

and on the other hand.... from Master Wu's bro down Brandon Thorn,

Overall, Fuaga has the size, power and run-blocking skills to earn a starting role in his first training camp at guard inside a run-first, play-action-based system. He also has enough quickness to play tackle in a pinch.

On tape, there aren’t too many glaring questions with Fuaga. His length, while exceptional, isn’t quite elite, and neither is his hip flexibility. But the biggest question will be whether or not he can switch to left tackle at the NFL level.

My take is that, while he lacks experience, Fuaga has the coordination, balance, athleticism, and natural leverage acquisition to move to the left side if needed. At either spot, he can be a scheme-versatile impact starter with Pro Bowl and All-Pro upside.

Joe doesn't have to pay Slater who needs a new deal or becomes a free agent next year. He could draft Alt as the replacement allow someone to sign Slater and get the 3rd Rd comp pick that he likes. And have that money that didn't go to Slater to add something else. He could do anything he wants. Ravens did trade their top OT for a 1st Rd pick in the past. Just as an example that Hortiz has been on staff that traded their young LT for a 1st Rd pick. Not that they have any plans to do that with Slater. But I'm just speculating that anything is possible. Other that QB. Herbert isn't going anywhere. They are going to try and win the Superbowl with him, defense, run game and special teams.

Well for roster needs. He likely makes it.
                But I can't resist a Taco bet.
Can I get a double or nothing for 2025 roster. My confidence is high he won't last long with that horrible run blocking.
Lol, I don’t have any special love for Pipkins. Don’t deflect factual rebuttal with ad hominem insults. He was better than both guards last year, I don’t know how often you, Zion and Salyer tongue-bathe each other but if you ever abstain long enough to dry off, you’ll be able to see the facts. That OL interior are getting My Golden God killed. Broken ribs was Zion’s guy up the middle. Broken throwing hand index finger - right up the middle again, Clapp chasing with no OG support.

I’ll bet you again after the season, I don’t want my 2024 Plato del tacos grandes sitting around for an entire year

So we don’t need two bookend pro bowl LTs, Alt is a replacement? What? The entire Alt argument is we have to have RT as strong as LT.

Critty is not on speaking terms with Telesco right now.

He blames Telesco and Pipkens for undermining the great Brandon Staley.

Trade him to Telesco for 2025 5th Rd pick.
That 6.25 could add 2 useful vets for depth.
I would trade him pre June 1 if there were an actual taker for Pipkins. The type of trade that would be agreed too so fast the other team can't take it back

Just not sure the market for him but you are right, give Telesco a call.

Critty includes Slater in the undermining the great Brandon Staley department .... he needs to go.

A 3rd round comp is more than he merits .... assuming someone would sign Slater for anything other than a prove it contract.
