You just need to get in the way as blocker but sure pancaking them is funner to see.

I wont call any player who hasnt taken a snap in the NFL a future HOFer though. Not that anybody called him that but Jonah Williams is yet another underchieving Alamaba OT and why Cinci didnt resign him. He went #11 i believe. I dont care who you are, even MHJ has to perform in the NFL before recieving a label. Even the abused word Generational.
Odunze looks like a fantastic NFL WR prospect to me. And he has that thing you cannot teach. That NFL money won't distract from. He wants to be great. And has no issue working as hard as it takes. I like when a physically talented player has a mental makeup of a professional. Players like him move up toward the top of BPA clusters. While players who seem like they need to mature and who might get distracted by NFL money slide down to bottom of BPA clusters.

If Chargers trade down to #11 and Rome is on the board. He could be the BPA that Joe Hortiz picks.
Who has it better than us?

But anything can happen. Sewell was pick high and is one of the best OT in the league. Really help their run game..and also gives them insurance for left side. They Lions jumped for joy in draft room the moment they knew Sewell fell to them. He has lived up to hype. One of the best young OT. Right or Left side in the league. I think Joe Hortiz should take the BPA at #5 if he stays put. If it's a WR, then so be it. If it's Joe Alt then it is what it is. I personally think it's a bad move to say Alt is a LT let's draft a RT instead. Only draft that RT if he is actually the BPA over Alt or whoever else at any position. BPA all day.
That is the one arguement I made for Alt weeks ago...LT is a commodity...whether thru injury or financial impasse, we could lose Slater...and transition well to Alt...I still dont know that he is the ultimate #1 OT option IN HARBAUGHS eyes that some people claim...but he would be a fine pick.

        He'll be available at #11.
I wonder about that...could all be buzz, but if Vikes get trumped by Giants, and they do actually like Pennix, they could get leapfrogged by donks or turds...

I see Vikes moving up, regardless...

I don't think Odunze makes it past 9. If the Chargers want him - might want to stay 8 or under

If the Chargers are trading down to 11 or lower - they are basically saying they are okay not getting Harrison, Nabers Odunze and Bowers as they are getting more draft capital over one player. Bowers could be there at 11 but I just don't see the Jesters passing on him. They have to maximize A-A-Ron by giving him weapons

I agree with you about Odunze and the mental aspect he brings

At this point, about all we can do outside of speculation, is wait until teams ate on the clock and how the players they draft perform.

The batting average is around .500 in round one.

This poster personally chooses to withhold juicy, persuasive nuggets of detailed personal knowledge on these top prospects. It can be said that Chop has great ankle flexion and that cannot be coached lol.

I think with Nabers there is bit of Zay Flowers remorse, or Tyreek envy.

Odunze, I remember being compared to Keenan, only faster.

Bowers is just a pure baller. I don't even call him a TE. I see a Big Slot who would look great in Powder Blue.

It seems to me that your takes hit fairly close to center of the dart board. That is pretty accurate, considering these ain't static darts you are tossing at a static board but individual prospects in fluid scenarios. What look like a generational sure thing could bust, or be plagued with injury bug, and what looks like mid to late Rd JAG with upside could become a quality starter and core player.

DIdnt you like Scruggs last year and the football world had him as a JAG of mid to late Rd. And then he goes bottom of Rd2 to Texans. Who knows how his career ends up, but apparently the Texans viewed him like you did. And made the pick.

I wonder if we’ll see anything like this from Hortiz and Harbaugh after the draft.

Even if you believe that Alt is top 5 caliber, which I don’t, to me he doesn’t project well to the right side so there are better true RT prospects later in the first…

I have always thought the NFL should a run a contest (or a charity bid) for each team and the winner gets to hang out in their team's war room during the draft. Would be fascinating....
