Now there’s a bunch of chatter that the Patriots GM likes JJ. If Maye falls, then it’s really all over cause that’s the guy MIN really wants. McCown was his QB mentor and coach in HS.
And after he blew up his Pro Day, there’s a bunch of chatter that Pennix is gonna go higher than 1st thought…
Vegas want him bad…

We also are not overly impressed with his manning up and resetting the line of scrimmage with his run blocking.
He'd probably go best in a heavy zone blocking scheme.
Then there is the uncertainty with moving to the opposite side: the old wiping your behind with the opposite hand analogy.
Some are more ambidextrous than others.
Than, there is the perceived gap between the rookie and the incumbent:
Alt > Pumpkins
Nabers >>>> Butterfingers
Too many issues at #5.
The GMs at Ourlads can select him at #3 for all I care.
When a significant portion of the legitimate experts have takes that you are not seeing, it's a good time to double back and keep searching. What am I missing ?
Well, Eric Fisher did make two Pro Bowls and he does have a Super Bowl ring.We play modern Harball.

I don’t like the Andrew Thomas comparison. I hope Joe Alt is not Andrew Thomas.
More and More I’d Like Romeo Oudunzie and I’d take Romeo Oudunzie over Malike Nabers. I think Marvin Harrison Jr. and Romeo Oudunzie are 1 and 1A .

And that means something on draft day. They’ve been working with you for over 2 months and they’ve blown draft capitol to do what you are asking them to do. Moneys on the table now….
Now, if I’m a team that wants Pennix, that’s another story. I’m sure their are teams playing chicken and lying through their teeth depending on where they think they can go get him. That’s a completely different situation.
Everyone knows what’s what in the top 5 teams, but by pick 6, it’s starts getting dicey cause NYG might just want a QB too and you got 2 teams right behind you who want Pennix in DEN and LV. I’m not telling those teams anything if I’m a GM trying to move up to 5 or 6 and snag Pennix.

TPB has no problem visualizing any of the big four weapons making big plays.
Try visualizing the Chargers having a great offensive line on both the left and the right side.
Herbert would be able to roll out either way.
We could run either side, at will.
The pocket would be comfortable.
Do you really think Harbaugh does not see ALL of this ?
As far as the "lack of mauling" I don't care.
I think it's physically more impressive to play under control without "mauling". I realize that's not exactly the same thing, but I've noticed that a lot of times when players are described as "maulers" that is sometimes confused with erratic and.over exertion.
If we draft Alt, I'll assume there is a solid plan and every risk has been vetted.

Let me explain it yall? Any of yall play baseball in here? Or have played baseball?
going from left tackle to right tackle when you played left tackle your whole career. Is like having to bat right handed when you batted left handed your whole career.
