If the Chargers end up with 11 and 23 I think Hortiz is going to be all over the board turning them into multiple 2nd and 3rds.
And I do think they want Bowers. Harbaugh’s offenses are predicated on a big time pass catching/ blocking TE and a run game.

I just listened to PFF WR rankings. It was so long they had to break it up into 2, 1 1/2 hr segments. That’s how many WRs there are in this draft. It’s insane the quality of receivers teams are going to be getting in the 5th round. They have #1 starting receivers in the 3rd round.

And as you listen to it, you quickly realize why Keenan was traded and Williams was released.

we know from experience that not all these guys are going to work out for a combination of reasons. The jump from college to pro is significant.

this draft is looking like the Trevor Lawrence draft. 3 straight QBs, and 5 in the first 15 only one of whom seems successful. 4 and 5 went to Pitts and Chase.

Yeah exactly! It will take 2024 rnd 1, rnd 2, rnd 3, 2025 rnd 1, rnd 2, and rnd 3 for me to even think about it...lol

The Ricky deal would be their entire 2024 draft picks lol...but sure id take their round 1 & 2 in 2025 and leave them their 6th and 7th this year

Taking dmac's thought process further; If I were AZ I'd trade Murray and his ridiculous contract to the Raiders for their 1st, 3rd and Minshew. Draft The best available QB at #4 (probably McCarthy? Maybe Maye), best available WR at 13 and fucking go . . . . . . . . . . . They'd be a real team then, instead of a circus sideshow . . . . . . . . . but again - it won't happen . . . . . . . . for the life of me I have no idea what they see in Murray - they won't win anything significant with him . . . . . . . .

I would try and trade back again even later in the 1st from 23 to get another 3rd rounder. I think Cooper will still be available in the late 20s.
