    ninja, in your film study,
    do you see Scharping as
a good fit for us ?

    We want powerful blockers,
who are good out in space.

I am just asking for some detail here. TY.
We do not play modern football.

Apparently we don't since we signed Barksdale and drafted Tevi lol. Just saying I'm sure that isn't their only criteria.....but I'd like that criteria.

Tevi is a good blocker in space, but streaky in pass pro. Ideally, we draft a road grader who is also solid in pass pro...

I love Max and he's one of my favorite prospects this year.

Max is an effective run blocker because of his body position, knowledge/IQ, and impressive angles he takes to create space. He needs a year in our S&C program to develop his core and lower body strength. This increase in strength will increase his drive blocking power, punch strike power, and his anchor strength. Then Meyer will have to help him correct his punch location and poof instant all-pro. :Cheers1::woot:

I'm still apprehensive about Dean but in the 4th, not a huge gamble. He has been healthy for 2 seasons now. I like Warring but he is a big project and doubt he contributes this year but for the future I like it.
I don't think ALL those guys are starting caliber players as you list them or they wouldn't be there in those rounds lol. Warring is never going to beat out Henry for example.
I like Mattison but there are some others I like more but it's still a good pick if the others are gone.

That is your final already? No changes coming?
Dean is a risky prospect with damn near elite talent. Late round 4 with his long injury history but off the charts ceiling is risk worth taking imo.

Warring is a project and in my evaluation I state that. He can be a STer while he learns the TE position. With the coaching staff, HH, & VG to show him what a pro needs to do. I think he will be our TE2 by mid season on passing downs.

Those are my rankings but i looked at a draft projection from several "pundits" to slot my mock. My rankings are different than most pundits.

Mattison's vision, 90 degree cutting ability, power, contact balance, and PP/receiving ability are tremendous just lacks top end speed but has explosion.

last year it was "Telesco doesn't draft safety early," and now it's "he doesn't draft FS."

and helmets aside, obviously there are plenty of small school success stories in the NFL.

think the cautionary tale w/Adderley are his coverage skills as exposed in the SB, and his most recent spat of injuries, and....

would be very surprised if Thornhill was on board @60 as some pundits have him off the board by 28.
5/11 Fuaga, 37 Kamari Lassiter, 40 Sinnott, 67 Bralen Trice, 69 Cedric Gray, 105 Jaylen Wright, 110 Braelon Allen, 140 Joe Milton, 181 Khristian Boyd, Tylan Grable, 225 Daijun Edwards, 253 Miyan Williams

Don't think Warring would beat out Green as the TE2 as a rookie but I think Green signed a two year deal so the next season I can see him contributing with a year of developement.

You never know, Gates contributed some as a rookie but we didn't have much talent there.
Green as you know is more the blocking TE the team likes and fits that role better than he did replacing Henry.

I really like this kid, the more I read and see...McGary is a kid I love...great story, great motor...but I actually think Max is more polished, and looks better technique wise. And McGary is a touted prospect that will likely be gone by 60...not sure Max isn't a better value...and if McGary doesn't take a big step up with pro coaching...Max may be the better pro ultimately. You have me sold.

Boy, I got some work to do on my sig!:facepalm1:
                  Adopted Bolt: Kimani Vidal RB

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

He should be in play for us @ 60 or @ 91, depending on grade and slotting...an under the radar prospect.

Greg Gabriel at Pro Football Weekly likes him...looked like the best of the touted OU linemen in 2019, after switching from ORT to OLT.

Can you say Swing Tackle ?

Evans skills are Pat Meyer friendly.

The issue I am seeing is that he has a narrow base while playing too tall, ie pad level.

There is aggressive, nasty initial punch, suggesting that Evans can hold up for us in Pass Pro, with a quick release passing game.
