Tillery, for example, who I have seen in many mocks, is unlikely in my opinion...
But you only have one in your mock...

Daniel Jones is killing his pro day script. Looks really good throwing on the run. His athleticism at his size is impressive. Making all the throws.

            Question for Our Man Fleet.

How is he looking as far as arm strength goes on deep throws ?

He looked good. Slightly under thrown on a couple. But he was rolling out to his left. Rivers didnt have a rocket arm coming out. But Rivers also couldnt run like Jones can. I think in todays game it doesnt hurt having a pocket passer that can run RPO's and make plays with his legs. It certainly can make a lesser OL look better.

It doesn't get much better than David Cutcliffe as a coach. Not that it means much but Clemson completely shut him down last year.

                Thanks for the report !
The one and only criticism I have seen or heard about is downfield floaters.

He may look good in shorts but he hasn't been an accurate thrower.

Yeah arm strength. But he does have plenty throwing to the sideline from the far hash. Which some will say is the hardest throw to make. Lamar Jackson probably will never be able to make that throw.

I really only bring him up because Jeremiah cited the Bolts as a landing spot. The ACC is loaded with good defenses. I dont think he put up great numbers. But if you surround him with talent like they did at the Senior Bowl he can be an efficient game manager type who can run. Which is all you can hope for in QBs typically drafted outside of the 1st round. Hes probably a 2nd round talent. Probably go in the 1st.

I think defenses are forced to hold back in the Senior Bowl anyways. So that may have helped. Hes a project.

Jenkins was getting more snaps at the end of the season. Mainly due to LB injuries. But he did well

However, I must ask are we overthinking it ?
Talent level should be emphasized over body type.
Yes, talent level wins all. But it's also good to take into account scheme and past history. I think Duffman is having a little too much fun during this off period.

I like Jones. I think he is well worth the 28th pick. I like him over Haskins. I think his ceiling his a mid level starting qb in the NFL. A little bit like the Philly qb. He didn't strike me as 6'7" when i started watching him. Constantly moving his feet in the pocket and can spot people at the last moment.

That Oklahoma qb sure is fun to watch. Arizona should grab him - and send Rosen off somewhere.
