How is he looking as far as arm strength goes on deep throws ?We do not play modern football.

It doesn't get much better than David Cutcliffe as a coach. Not that it means much but Clemson completely shut him down last year.

I think in todays game it doesnt hurt having a pocket passer that can run RPO's and make plays with his legs. It certainly can make a lesser OL look better.

The one and only criticism I have seen or heard about is downfield floaters. We do not play modern football.

I really only bring him up because Jeremiah cited the Bolts as a landing spot. The ACC is loaded with good defenses. I dont think he put up great numbers. But if you surround him with talent like they did at the Senior Bowl he can be an efficient game manager type who can run. Which is all you can hope for in QBs typically drafted outside of the 1st round. Hes probably a 2nd round talent. Probably go in the 1st.
I think defenses are forced to hold back in the Senior Bowl anyways. So that may have helped. Hes a project.

Of course we will have 5 Safeties.
Rayshawn. Jaylen. Derwin. Adrian. ?
Been predicting this for quite a while.

However, I must ask are we overthinking it ?
Talent level should be emphasized over body type.

That Oklahoma qb sure is fun to watch. Arizona should grab him - and send Rosen off somewhere.Last edited by powderblueboy; 03-27-2019, 05:46 PM.
