I'd take my highest remaining guy and be happy. This is a great year to pick at 6 & 37.

IMV there are 35+ prospects with round 1 grades.

Hypothetic. IND wants Herbert, to learn behind Rivers.

We trade #6 for #13 & #34.

Andrew Thomas, Josh Jones could be targets. Furthermore, someone like Matt Hennessy (the comp is Corey Linsley) will be available for sure in early round two.

Boom. We get three round one graded players, or alternatively, two Olinemen who are perfect Campen fits + a third piece.

All for biting the bullet on one of these elite players.

That's minimum for that trade. I would like something extra thrown in for giving up seven spots. Maybe next years third rounder too!

only 2 problems with that....

1. We dont have a QB and won't be able to get one if we trade down.........

2. If you like your football team without an elite franchise type QB and are happy with a basic game manager/career backup type QB.... like Taylor or Fromm, then we should stay at 6 and take an Elite defensive player like Brown, Okudah, or Simmons....... if we trade down, a middle round first and a second are not close to enough...... a top 5-6 pick is worth art least 2 first rounders....maybe 3 because QB's are available that will kick that value up very high......

At pick 6 we are in the rare position to acquire either an elite QB or an elite defender....... elite players are worth way more than 2 good solid players.....
