Might be fixable, and #71 is a reasonable wager.
Ii saw a couple OU games and he did seem to be a first read only read qb a lot of the time. Whether that is coach able to nfl level I don’t know?

Bridgewater would beat out Tyrod. Mariota....not sure. Don't want Mariota.

He's probably not even my 5th choice, but I'm not anti-Mariota. If Mariota & Herbert were both coming out at the same time I would take Mariota. Maybe the guy just needs a change of scenery & to get back closer to home?

There is a report from Dan Sileo that the Chargers are in trade talks with Bengals for the #1 pick along with a few other teams

I heard MM was never the same after his broken leg.

could just be ol fashion physical trauma
shame because there are some really good therapies for that.
Anyway, I’m warming up to the idea of Tyrod as our bridge QB but he needs competition, can’t be handed the job by his bestie (Lynn)

It'd probably take a dump truck full of gold, but I might very well do it for that kid.

Same might be true about Derrick Carr

Carr had a good year last season. Just needs some WRs. Tyrell had the plantar foot injury most the year and Renfroe started coming on late but they need more.

I don't think he had a good enough year for Chucky's liking. I hope he trades for Cam. That's a minimum of 5 turnovers for us next year.

That is a surprise but would be great news if the Chargers ownership finally wants to do the right thing.......

any links to that report? or was it just mentioned on radio?

its more about the system fit........ for example, Rivers would not have done well in KC because reids system requires a mobile QB who can roll out and buy time for receivers to get wide open......

Brees would not have fit with Norv's offense.....

Tannehill is not great but got better when he had a RB running for 150 plus yards per game....

Oregon QB's are good in that system and because they never play against good defenses...... same true with oklahoma QB's and Texas tech QB's..... mahomes is only exception to that and its because he is better and because he is with Reid who is running a perfect system that takes advantage of that mobility...... and strong arm.....
