Yep...and TT can use all the intel on prospects he can get! TT and Lynn can also get the inside info on Cushenberry, whom Cregg coached at LSU...

              LOL.
He would feel right at home.
NYJ talent level is akin to LAC.
Maybe he could bring UFA OTs
Kelvin Beachum or Brandon Shell with him.
I have luke warm interest in these players.
but building depth is a concern also.
NYJ have similar cap space to LAC.
DeGuglielmo has the chops and experience.
              Good find, sonora !

That makes somer sense for multiple reasons you pointed out..... if there is no one we can steal from shanahan's 49ers staff, then grabbing a coach from a great college program is probably a great way to go.....

There are 2 major approaches to building an OL........ go with super big, super strong maulers...... or go with a lighter, quicker more mobile OL like the walsh 49ers used to have and the current 49ers have..... and patriots, steelers, and manning colts used to have..... cowboys had a big huge OL that could also move......during Johnson era.......

the mobile guys are usually better pass blockers but they also are better at the screen game and current 49ers running game...... Chargers seem to choose guys who are big but super slow, which is why quick pass rushers run easily by them...........

I think with today's rules, speed and mobility is even more important than brute force...... Ravens are 0-2 using brute force method...... TEN tone a couple of games but eventually lost to the most mobile team in NFL.....

KC and 49ers are probably the fastest, most mobile teams in NFL....... most explosive offense vs best defense and most explosive running game.....

Chargers lost two close twice to KC even though we held mahomes to very ordinary under 300 yard days....... Chargers special teams and offensive turnovers lost those games.......
Chargers did that with only 2 real pass rushers.......

49ers have at least 4 real pass rushers, so if they can keep mahomes in the pocket, he will likely struggle and either get beat up or be forced into some risky throws to avoid being sacked..... and could end up being a 49er blowout win...... usually the top defense beats the top offense unless the top offense also has a great defense.....

but if reid finds ways to scheme mahomes ways to escape to buy time and get his track team wide open, mahomes could score so many points it would force 49ers out oof it's running game and KC could win big.....

Both are very fast high scoring teams......with one team having a dominating defense...... Should be interesting SB.....

                      addition by subtraction methinks.

Got an opinion on Harry Hiestand, who was with the bears as offinsive line coach?

Don't think he's found a landing spot yet...

                        Hiestand is my first choice.
ND's Tommy Kraemer would be an excellent late round value pick too.

I've been mock drafting Syracuse edge rusher Alton Robinson in the 4th round, but after his Senior Bowl performance I can see his stock going up. He's raw, but could develop into Melvin Ingram's eventual successor.

Robinson was one of three players with at least 1.5 sacks Saturday. He was strong around the edge in addition to giving the offensive guards some work. His dominance was a bit unexpected considering he had a total of 4.5 sacks this season. The Texas native is best suited as a 4-3 defensive end.
Looks like an NFL edge defender. Possesses prototypical size, length, power, and explosiveness. Physical gifts are in abundance. Knows how to maximize his length both as a pass rusher and run defender.
With an explosive first-step, Robinson is still in the beginner stages of figuring things out on the edge. The tools already present in the toolshed are intriguing, but there are lots of ingredients that need to be added in order for him to reach the next levels of his potential. The clay is there to be sculpted and there’s already a sharp start to it.
The biggest riser that I've noticed is Baylor WR Denzel Mims. I first had him going in the 5th, now seeing him picked up as early as the end of the 2nd. I like him at pick 71, because he's likely gone by pick 102.
                          Link: Denzel Mims stock rising

Has truly elite burst and long speed as a former decorated track and field athlete. One of the most explosive athletes in college football who also has strength throughout his frame.
Denzel Mims is a strong Day 2 candidate for a team looking to develop a starter at the X or Z receiver position. Mims has a catch radius the size of Mars, with unfathomable leaping ability, tremendous concentration and body control in the air, and the hand strength to snag and secure balls at the very extent of his considerable frame.
I thought Memphis RB Antonio Gibson could be a value pick in rounds 6 or 7, but his stock seems to be going up too.

Hot diggity this kid can move! Explosive and fluid athlete with a thick lower-half that generates a ton of power in the short areas. Is equal parts sudden and smooth with a great natural feel for space and timing as he works through the tight areas between the tackles. Unique deployment as an offensive weapon: 38 receptions and 33 carries across his final season with the Tigers, with traditional/schemed touches at all levels of the field.
