2020 Draft Prospect Discussion

I have added the Mock Draft Machine to our draft section drop down on the nav bar. Its fun. New take on the OTC draft sim.

Not bad, Fleet. The machine has us picking at #13 overall. Here are the choices at #13:

They need to make it more realistic and force certain players in the top. Ive drafted Burrow a few times. That and maybe have access to more big boards. I used to like seeing guys like Gosselin compiling boards for sims because i always thought his ranking were pretty solid. Greg Cosell is another guy who i really hold in high regard as far as ranking players or giving them grades. He just knows how to break down film. This is something many here will tell you i used to obsess on. I would write reports on players years ago. I think CMB member Shamrock would them post them at the CMB. I used to go over film quite a bit with a member there names David Katz. An old Israeli paratrooper friend of mine. Had a bad heart. Id post pics of my multiple screens with players film on our forum that we moved from before starting the Blues. My stepdad owned a sports agency as part of Gaylord Entertainment. So i had access to a database of film. Good times.

I feel like ive passed the torch to others here.

Yep. Wood, remember how high Mel Kiper was on Jamarcus Russell? Remember how "Mr. Toupee" had Johnny Football as #1 on his big board? How'd that work out for 'ya, Mel?

Lol, yeah, Kiper is kind of a joke. I didn't even have Russell as a first round pick. I had him as a second rounder...from his talent.

His head made him a UDFA.

Yep...hard to believe Burrow falls all the way to #13, but then, look what happened with Derwin...

On the Fanspeak Simulator, they had us drafting at #11 overall. I'd kind of like to have Andrew Thomas in at RT, and eventual successor to Okung:
