Brett Kollman notices a subtle difference in Bills Josh Allen's mechanics, 2019 vs 2020. The QB is now playing at an elite level.

Look for Pep Hamilton to get Justin Herbert locked in on his throwing details. Then we will be all set.

Correct footwork leads to proper hip rotation and good torque. Don't rely on arm strength alone. Once fundamentals are a thing of habit, Herbert can focus on reading defenses.

Watch the way Herbert throws consistently, more so than the results of particular passes. Accuracy and good ball placement is the natural result. Everything else is in place for our future franchise QB.

Yep, glad we got good coaches for Herbert and the OL now.

      Coaching matters!

I notice it to. FYI josh Allen is my Starting QB and I'm #1 in my Fantasy League.

Herbert is showing when he has correct shoulder alignment and keeps the left arm tucked he can throw accurately and quickly.

When I think about the systems changing, I think about how difficult it would be if someone fundamentally changed my job, and my method of communication every year. Then, I think about how this kid was an excellent student in the sciences (biology). In other words, his study was his emphasis in his college career. That's the opposite of most football players.

With the receivers, it's pretty clear he had a bunch of drops in Oregon. He also made plenty of errors. Check out the quarterback school on Youtube. In the Chargers, I think he's got 4 top notch, A+ receivers (Allen, Henry, Ekeler, and Williams). On top of that, there's a lot of talent to be developed. I like his chances to succeed here. He really made some eye popping NFL throws on his first start.

Herbert 320 yards today, 1 each TD/INT. Threw 49 times, 35 completions, 71 percent completion percentage. Not having Mike Williams hurt the deep passing game. There isn't anybody else yet who can burn a defense deep consistently. Steichen needs to develop another deep threat WR - either Guyton or Reed. You've got a kid with one of the strongest arms on the planet. He needs those weapons.

He would probably do even better if there was a normal offseason.

Our eyes don’t lie the talent is there for sure. Might as well play him the rest of the way this team isn’t going anywhere IMO and let’s take our lumps now.

Right now, Herbert looks like another Sam Darnold or Daniel Jones-the things they did in college to get noticed just won't work in the pros. The game is too fast. But, on paper at least, the Giants and Jets seem to be wrecks when it comes to talent. I think the talent around Herbert can make him better. I think we can give him a "pass" if he can't stand toe-to-toe with Brady or Brees but if he can't take on the Jets or Dolphins, then maybe it will be time to worry just a bit,
