The Colts have a good offensive line, when healthy but very few playmakers around Rivers. Herbert has better playmakers but is stuck with a putrid line. It was the right time to move on from Rivers and I'm glad we have Herbert.

I can only say this based on Chargers history - he is not ready. And if going the DC root for a first time HC would pick Eberflus or Saleh over him

It’s a mistake to think he could come here and turn our defense into the Rams defense. They rushed 4 yesterday and sacked Wilson 5 times. After Donald went out with 2 sacks, Leonard Floyd and Brockets picked up the slack. Donald is better than Bosa and we don’t have anybody behind Bosa to pick up the slack.
by the way, Rams haven’t had a 1st round draft pick since 2016Comment

I know this. Staley did a lot more with that defense than Wade did so i wouldnt be real fired up to rehire Wade as DC. Wade did well with Denvers defense but they were loaded that year. We arent loaded.Originally posted by jamrock View PostComment
