The biggest question if Daboll is hired is who will be the DC. The Spanos' and TT need to select a winner on that side of the ball.

As bad as we think Gus was...the Chargers were a top 10 defense in stats. Stats can be deceiving.
Daboll. Is picking his DC, not Telesco. TT said he the HC gets to pick his staff.

Under Gus we got worse every season in points allowed.

The Bills ran 16 times and averaged 2.0 yards per carry. So they should have run more?

Allen was struggling some due to a significant wind, but the passing attack was still working better than the ground game and it was obvious that the Bills knew they were going to struggle running the ball, so they chose not to waste those downs, mostly running to keep the Ravens honest on defense and possibly cross them up.

Also, as someone pointed out, Allen's mechanics were not great tonight. He just had a below average game.

But the play calling, in game tactical decisions and halftime adjustments were very good.
Ok. Air Daboll. Bring it on

That Raven/sBills game was real interesting.

I can't really fault the game plans too much. I was expecting a shootout and I think both offenses had the mindset that it was going to be.

The thing is, both defenses played really good. They simply covered the field to the point that it neutralized the playcalls (if players can't get open, they're not open).

The other aspect, weather like that will always favor the defense on top of it. It was a little hard to get a read on how good the gameplans were because the situations were a little more extreme. There were a lot of critical drops on both sides and a lot of overthrows and underthrows that I really think may have been big plays. That said, I personally liked how the Bills came out running more during the 2nd half and flavored pick plays.

Other things that really stood out:
        1. The Bills ran that Belichick special: using the short-range passing game as a run game.
        2. The BIlls OL is really good.
        3. Ravens need a true WR1 and/or at least a reliable RB who can catch out of the backfield to make that offense more dynamic. After watching the Tennesse game and the Bills game, that offense is highly dependent on Lamar Jackson going 1 vs 11.

KC literally makes it look too easy.

They seriously look like they're coasting.

Yeah, no rust despite not playing for 21 days by a lot of the team.

Something the Chargers really need is speed. KC kills with speed, they have like 3 or 4 players on offense that are faster than anything we have.

We need some speedy RBs and speedy WRs.
Tom Telesco’s Results in 9 years as Chargers GM:

                - 69-74 record
                - 0 division titles in 9 yrs as GM
                - Worst record among all active GMs with same tenure
                - 6th worst winning percentage among all active GMs overall
                - 2 playoff wins despite elite QB all 9 yrs
                - Team still has the same weaknesses (Oline and run defense) that it had when hired as GM in 2013
                - Consistently puts together horrible depth, expects starters to never miss games

Andy Reid with a bye to prepare is almost unbeatable, especially with a QB like Mahomes.

Patrick limping around and scoring points on every possession.

                    Defense wins championships.

What a blunder. Fumble out of bounds in the endzone.
