Did Detroit decide to not hire Aaron Glenn? Or are you talking about a different defensive coaching position?

I read Joe Barry is interviewing for Packers DC...didn't see anything about the Lions.
          Adopted Bolt: Kimani Vidal RB

Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

Yes interesting about the Green Bay job interviewing Barry. LaFleur and McVay are close so it makes sense to have that connection and insight.

Barry isn’t a good DC based on his tenure with the WFT. But maybe he learned something his first time around.

Looking at the list from Demovsky - -I think Barry is a long shot. I can see Jim Leonhard - a young up and coming type, getting the job. That is the wave it seems with hirings - Saleh when he went to SF; Staley to the Rams....

Barry's 1st time around was when he was the Lions DC. He is an excellent position coach, but not a very good DC. Some of that may have been in Washington he was forced to run the Manusky 34 scheme, but I was not impressed by his scheming when he was there.

I like that Staley has gotten guys with a mix of different scheme experience. He has guys who have coached in 34 and 43, and have a variety of different tools available, not just a bunch of scheme guys who will scratch their heads when faced with something they weren't expecting.

Jim Leonhard is a hot DC name. I do wonder since he played under Mike Pettine if he runs a similar scheme. And if so, that would make the hire kind of weird for the Packers.

Still no word on Jay Rodgers...I don't know why this bothers me so much...guess I see a mystery, I wanna solve it.

Also, no head offensive line coach.

Maybe one of you twitter guys can light up some of these beat writers, clue them in to what the fans want to know...seems awful quiet on the Chargers front...
