We have good starting talent again now,
      but MUST develop depth.

That would be Pipkins, Jaimes and Quessenberry, chiefly.
Is this some sort of modified wood sliding scale grading thing? Feeney hasn’t had one good season since college. He sucks, he sucked from Day1 to DayLast, he will always and forever more suck ass. The Lamp/Feeney experience just plain sucked from end to end, start to finish.

No it is my personal assessment as to what actually took place,
        vs
some sort of an urban legend.

As PFF's Sammy Monson points out here,

The only one who had a modified memory is you. Feeney did well his rookie season. He did okay the following year with Pouncey at center, but you can see his weaknesses come through. Obviously, the biggest highlight of this was against the Chiefs and Chris Johnson on TNF.

Surprisingly that OL did relatively well in terms of pass protection that year. They had a huge problem running the ball though.

              Daggummit.
              It was Spencer Pulley.
              Number 73.
I try to forget the Slauson years.

Slauson was fine in 2016 at center. I would rather Lynn had left him at Center or have him as a backup instead of moving him to LG. But then again, he was probably done physically in 2017. Strange how quickly the cliff happens.

The Bears cut Slauson because he wasn't "athletic enough," meaning I guess they wanted a good pulling guard in their ground game. At center, Slauson wasn't asked to pull very much if at all, so he was at least serviceable. Moving him to G exposed his weaknesses...

And if minicamps are this weekend - meaning players having to be in the facility - my guess is they all will sign. It is so much easier these days with rookie slotting. Granted, Bosa did have a disagreement in contract language so who knows (my theory, the Spanii did that on purpose - that was the the last year in SD; they also kept McCoy - limited their chances of being successful that year).

It wasn’t the Spanos. It was Bosa’s agent group CAA. If you look them up, you see the same problems with other players.
