I'm still a fan of Supa Mel. He sure didn't have a good year last year but he was still enthusiastic and a player like that gives his whole unit a lift. - Not saying I want him back but I liked him and he was a contributor.

Why? Let the Chiefs have a Charger-like injury report, and we can take 1st. The Bolts have a very solid roster this year. Keep healthy, start fast, and we’re in the race.

and we finally have a head coach who is smart enough to keep up with Andy Reid.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

I agree, the wild card is the new coaching staff. There's a lot of talent on both sides of the balI, if they can coach this years team up it could be a fun year.

Wow. No Tillery. And I don’t think Palmer is WR3 either. And that sure looks like a 4-2-5 defense to me.

Agreed. Great personality, enthusiasm. Amazing athlete.
Age, injuries and contract are a reality though. Shame.

I agree about the head coach but cannot count on injuries for the Chiefs

I agree also about the roster - I do think its improved. But to get from 7 to 13 wins (13-4, new 17 game schedule) - seems a big jump at this point. I do think 11-6 is not unrealistic.

Well, the defensive projection is exactly what's there on coaches tape from 2020 LAR, to match it all up with.

Hence my comment about further EDGE help not being a priority, especially at this moment.

                    All IMHO F21.
And this poster likes Palmer at WR3 too.

The other two were just acquired.
I see enough talent, and take into account StaleyD concepts.
You wanna sign Justin Houston ?

So, of course he isn't going to do that.

Yes, there are still some repairs to the hull that are required if the boat is going to avoid getting swamped, and sinking this season.

No, this team-- in it's present state-- should *not* be expected to compete for anything beyond just REACHING the post-season.

We're looking at roughly 6 weeks until camp begins. I doubt Staley intends to reach that juncture with the roster as it is at this moment.

Is it not the right time for
                        foolish optimism ?

So far Uchenna hasn't shown me much.

I'd rather they sign Julio and blow up our offense.

Joey may like them to sign Houston though? Joey may want Mal back for all I know.
