That would be my guess. Smith is (was?) a better ST gunner and is (was?) a better corner, too. He has played and started some games. He is not terrible.

That's what they did at the beginning of the season, when Smith came back from the Covid IR list. Fortunately there is an open spot on the PS because Joe Reed was just placed on PS IR after the surgery he just had.

So was I. He was generally reliable and all the Packer fans liked him a lot. Of course, he becomes even more brittle with us.
