So you’re saying that those guys sucked? Because we were pretty good until Oday went out for the year and Feiler missed last week’s game. There’s no viable FA OL once the season begins unfortunately. You just have to hope you get lucky and find a diamond in the rough, or that you have enough depth to weather the injuries. The latter is the issue. Not the FA OL we got earlier in the year.

The fact that TT has not brought in good depth or that we are tryin to "rebuild" the o line TT built in the first place.Thats what Im sayin.TT=anti trencher.

This is why in the coming offseason I'd like to sign two solid FA's, one for RT and one C-G. Then ALSO double dip in the draft, a T and a C-G...finally, CUT Scho, Kelemete and Norton...if Jaimes and Q-Berry can't cut the mustard in TC, cut them too...we need DEPTH...QUALITY depth on our O-line...

1. Fluker: 3 year starter on Alabama at RT.... placed at RT and then RG
2. Chris Watt: played LG at Notre Dame... moved to RG and then center
3. Pip: division III player at LT.... moved to bench
4. Tuerk: blew out his knee his senior season.... red shirted and then waived.
5. Clarke: 3 - 4 year starter at RG/RT for MSU...placed at a guard position for Chargers (never made it out of preseason)
6. * Tevi: converted defensive lineman at Utah - two year starter at RT..... placed at RT
7. Lamp: Division III LT...moved to RG
8. Feeney: played mostly RG at Indiana.....moved to LG and then center
7. Jaimes: played LT at Nebraska...moved to RG
8. Slater: played LT at Northwestern.....LT on Chargers

Lamp played at Western Kentucky a D1scbool not a division 3 School.

Yep...Bolts have a nasty habit of trying to make player change positions...it's a gamble, and most of the time, from chart above, it didn't work...look at Slater this year...leave him where he excelled...period...

Tillery did cause that fumble by Mixon. It’s too bad we as fans expect everyone’s draft pick to be that dude. Does he need to be better? Sure he does. I’m sure he’s trying.

Tillery, like Campbell, is nice depth. Just not someone you want starting consistently. And I say that as someone who was rooting for him to succeed. He’s just too damn inconsistent. Even Adderley has improved more than him this year.

Except that’s not what I was saying to Caslon. This is a separate issue.
