The most bizarre scenario... The Colts lose, and the Chargers / Raiders tie. Both Chargers and Raiders make the playoffs. Can you imagine the uproar if that happened? Dean Spanos and Mark Davis could call each other and order their coaches to just tie after they find out what happened to the Colts.

I think you missed a cog here. That would only apply if the colts lose to the Jaguars. The colts would be 10-7 and the Chargers would take the 7th seed I think because we beat them.
