Maybe in Round 6 I would take RB - but certainly not in Rounds 1-5
next year - Chargers can focus on RB. There will also be veterans released for the minimum. Just not a priority.

We arent going to start three rookies on the OL. Not sure we even need a IDL but sure BPA comes into play...for any possition asside for QB.
Cant be closed minded to anything. Again, need to get thru FA'cy before saying this is what we need to draft. There will be vets released for most all possitions.

RB is a wasted damn pick if they do it again.

Not sure - maybe there is a value pick in there that might make sense but in your scenario - what if Kyle Pitts is a value pick in R1 and than a RB in R3 - very good value - but at what point are you not upgrading the OL, Front 7 and CB
Linval Jospeh, Casey Hayward, Chris Harris, Justin Jones , Nwosu and obstensibly, Bryan Bulaga are free agents after this year. Plus, there is the need for a couple young OL. Now, if say Jones and Hayward are released and guys like say Dalvin Tomlinson and a CB in the 26-28 range are signed, that might limit the need for DL and CB.
So maybe my statement was too definitive But for me - the needs are obvious

Bulaga isn't a free agent after this season. And i see no reason why Jones would be released.
And RB is a need too. TE really is not as I'm pretty certain Henry will be a priority. Til he isn't signed, it's not a need imo.
But once again we will know for certain after FA'cy so it's tough to say what we should draft at this point til we know what we need afterwards.
Sometimes a value player falls like Keenan did. Pitts isn't a value in round one at #13 like those RBs would be in rounds 3-4.Last edited by Boltjolt; 02-28-2021, 04:53 PM.

I referenced 2- first round RBs (1-top 15), 1 - second round, 1 - 2nd/3rd round prospects available with our picks in the 3rd or 4th round. Value, PON, and BPA possible.
Yes OL, CB, Edge are bigger PONs for me as well but don’t discount value of much higher ranked prospects. Over drafting will rarely ever work out.My 2021 Adopt-A-Bolt List
