He's back with his Pitt WR coach, concepts communication should be good. Ffrench may prove valuable as a returner right away. WR will take longer.

I really like how Staley and TT are bringing in players to QUICKLY address weaknesses (like Hill letting rock bounce)...looks like players are on a REAL short leash, with very little room for error...oh, wait a minute...it's called...

Hill not catching the punt lost what, 15-20 yards of field position. Chargers I think had three and out. The punt by Long had a good return and WFT ended up with a field goal (granted the refs missed a face mask call). Now, not blaming it all on Hill but a series of plays, starting with the failure to field the punt, helped the WTF team get some 20 yards of field position after their initial possession after the Chargers touchdown, kickoff.

Yep...now in the WFT game, turns out it didn't make a difference. But in another real tight game, it might. Fundamentals are crucial...so glad to see Staley is right on top of these issues and taking swift and decisive action...last year, Lynn probably would have let this go for several games before addressing it...if ever...
