These judgement calls are way too close,
    to be making blanket statements,
    2 months before the draft.
Let’s start with cutting Turner and signing the best available Center at market value to snap directly to JH and see where things fall from there

Slater or AVT are my LT's
Linsley can be had for Trai Turner's contract
    FA Austin Blythe at LG
and draft a RG... Moore/Meinerz/Cleveland (in the 4th round)

Best center in the NFL + 2 rookies (next to veterans).
On any play, the OL could run or pass.
Could use your 2nd rounder (and two 3rd rounders) on BPA CB, S, IDL, Edge, RB... lot's of draft flexibility there.
There are some pretty good RB's 5th-6th... especially with that solid OL you just built through the draft/FA.

Linsley is the best UFA C available
has experience with LeFleur which is somewhat related to the en vogue offense ala Mc-shanna-fleur-vay style
and Rodgers is a great comp for Herbert, don’t cha think?
imagine the wealth of information Herbert will gain by being in the same huddle as Linsley

pretty sure there are 3 guys here at the TPB who can “start” ahead of Feeney, and he’s my favorite of our 3 stooges
We have the cap and cash for 1 “splash” in FA, there is no better way to support our biggest asset than CL
And CL doesn’t stop me from drafting a Creed or Dickerson, but it sure gives me flexibility to use day3 pick that will take 1-2 years to mature into starting C or G, which is a good timeline to parallel CL
Corey Linsley has started every NFL game he has played in from day one. He was a 5th round pick.
Lloyd Cushinberry and Garrett Bradberry started as rookies for the Broncos and Vikes. Biadasz has as well for Dallas.

I dont have a problem with it.

Linsley for me should be number 1 on the Chargers free agent target list. I don't want an OT from Free Agency (the Villanueva, Beachams - just not worth it at this point of their careers) - you need the OT from the draft. I think Center has been a weak spot for years. For the cost of Thuney the Chargers can probably get Linsley and a servicebable OG that would be an upgrade from last year with Nick Easton or Larry Warford, maybe Matt Feiler (Linsley + Feiler is probably more than Thuney but not much).

Take care of the interior OL in free agency - get the OT and the other OG in the draft

you make very good points about the LaFleur connection == plus linsley played with Bulaga and Coach Koger was just on the GB staff.

    ....b. Titus Howard.
--Overpay Nick Martin ("injury prone" and "mediocre" per TPB Trencher standards)

And now y'all want to ...
    sign Nick Martin ?
or pay through the nose for a Center in Linsley ?
There are several day one starters at Center,
who are perfectly slotted for us.
Or, better yet, put some stud Guards, like a healthy Trai and a premium pick OLG on either side of Feeney.
Feeney can do his reach blocks put in space, and his combo blocks.
The lack of anchor and lunging won't seem so bad.
