Imagine passing on a coach like Payton just to continue staying with Brandon Staley.

Almost as egregious as going with McCoy over pursuing Andy Reid. Or Staley over Daboll.

I'm sure we'll get the one playoff appearance out of 4 years like we did with the last 2 coaches. And then start over again and wonder why it didn't work.

Calm down, Payton wasn't coaching well his last seasons with the Saints and maybe the game has passed him by. We have a young HC now who has coached our team to a 4-2 record and has overcome a lot of injuries early on! We'll see how this season unfolds first before thinking Payton is the master key for the Chargers becoming a winning franchise. I would take Jim Harbaugh over Payton 10 out of 10 times at this point.

but I am SO happy for a win yesterday...much better than ANY kind of loss to that donky shit team. now on to see all the Geno buzz.

If we collapse at the end of the year and don't make the playoffs, it would make sense to look at Payton. But I don't see that happening this year.
