Watching Daboll lead the Giants today, and seeing how well Daniel Jones is doing....sigh. What could have been.

funny story: back in 2004 when the chargers lost to the Jets in OT during the WC games, I had taken my daughter (she was in high school) and a couple of friends to san diego for the game. i was the ONLY hard core chargers fan in the group and was devastated after the loss (saturday night game). the next day we did touristy stuff, including some kind of old western town area (i don't remember what it was called). every hour or so i would have a PTSD flashback to the game and almost fall to the floor in pain, while the rest of our group was COMPLETELY UNFAZED THE WHOLE DAY.

it is actually nice to share the misery on this board - i had no help on touristy day back in 2004.

haha I can definitely relate.

I bet it was, "Old Town".
it's a nice little neighborhood and specific park where some employees dress up in 1800 costumes and gives tours of the town.

He just ran a jet sweep on a 3rd an inches. Imagine if Lombardi did that…oh wait!

The difference is their WR didn’t run into the QB not expecting the ball.

My 7 year old daughter had no clue how bad I felt.
I think I want to keep it that way and stop pushing Charger fandom/gear on her.
Maybe pink unicorns and princess tiaras are fine.

I think pink unicorns and tiaras are healthy. How do I know that? People eventually grow out of that phase of childhood. And besides, unicorns and tiaras don't ever hurt you. BUT being a football fan is a lot like an addiction. You KNOW it's not healthy but you just can't stop! Our minds have been hijacked by a disease. We are ZOMBIES!

Daniel Jones looks like a better coordinator than Herbert.


Maybe the OC does influence those things ..... not certain.
