One thing about Staley thus far and remains to be seen: Staley isn’t exactly a proven culture builder when compared to the likes of Andy Reid, Mike Tomlin, Bill Bellichik or even perhaps a Sean Peyton. It remains to be seen if he’s any more than a wunderkind hire at this point.

The mike'd up and player interviews are good, Moore and DA are awesome.
Comparing Staley to mega year and multi SB vets seems a little premature starting his 3rd year.

Personally one thing he has done is begun to create a good culture here. The players love being Chargers, love being here and all love playing for Staley.
Game management and defense need to improve

D (and O) is improved from last year in personnel and coaching. It looks obvious to me but I can't prove anything.
Watch the Mia game and let's talk again.

Belicheck culture in Cleveland. Didn't happen.
His culture in New England looks very much like riding Tom Brady's greatness until he has success without him.
Sean Payton only had 1 winning season his first 3 years with Saints and was only 2 games over .500. And also had a stretch of 3 straight 7-9 seasons during his tenure with Saints.
Reid has been very successful at two spots. Although his first year as rookie HC he went 5-11. And final season with Eagles was 4-12. The Superbowls only happened in his 2nd HC job with Mahomes, who is by far his most talented QB.
Not to mention all these coaches have coached for over a decade. Made a name for themselves and then and only then do they get applauded for their culture.
Add Pete Carroll to the list. His rookie HC job he went 6-10 with Jets. Did well with NE. Then to Seattle where he goes 7-9 first two years before they start to get good.
Meanwhile Staley has coach 2 years.
Both winning seasons and is 4 games above .500
Of these culture builders.
Only Tomlin has a better winning percentage after two years than Brandon Staley. But Tomlin was the only 1 of those great coaches to inherited a team with a franchise Superbowl winning QB and a team that was filled with guy that won the title 2 years earlier.
I say all that to say this. Your take seem odd. A two year HC is not exactly the proven culture builders of the hall of famer who have coached for decades.
Well ....duh.
But the story says Staley has done more with less than those gentlemen and did it with an organization/ownership that has struggled to build a championship culture itself. At least that is my spin on it. And I added some facts and detail as well.
Who has it better than us?
