Herbert was 14-19 on 3rd downs vs the best d-line of the NFL.

Only 2 TDs in 6 trips in the red zone....well first of all it would've been 3TDs in the red zone. Second, we made 6 trips down there? = means our o-line was winning more battles.

Of his 5 incomplete passes on 3rd down, how many were drops that should have been caught? Honestly, Herbert played good enough to put up another 14-17 points. The interception was a bad pass, but that is literally the only big mistake he made in the entire game.

This was reminiscent of the 2013 game. The game in Washington, the team failed to convert in the end zone. Except this time the Chargers win.

Could not watch the game live. Just got to see it now. So glad to see the aggression on the last drive of the game. So glad. Don’t know if that was Lombardi or Staley or both. But THAT is how you win games. You don’t turtle up and hope you can run the clock enough to give the other team just enough time to score and then hope your punt team plays well and then hope your defense holds. You stay agrgressive. Love it!
