  • Raiders Derek Carr muses aloud about 20 years of Raider tradition, not really comprehending that Charger castoffs is simply not the way to rebuild a defense.

It's time for a new owner, a new head coach and a new GM who wants to build around a new QB. One down, three to go.

Derek Carr fumbled the football 11 times in 2020, losing eight, which led the NFL. In fact, since Carr entered the league, he's lost more fumbles than anyone with 31, per the AP source.

            • Broncos are looking pretty good - if they get decent QB play - they are not an easy out
              Raiders won

Chargers wiht a bad loss heading to Cincinnati who looked great

Which offense will show up. Will it be the good one the converts or not
Defense aint' doing squat to win these games

Chargers will be 7th if the RAvens win
if the Browns win - Chargers are out of hte playoffs as of tonight

              • Bengals on the road next. Might get ugly.

Defense isn't good enough for a playoff team and the OL is just horrible missing a third starter.

The defense is going to hold the team back, but they still may be able to make the playoffs. And yes, today's offensive problems can be chalked up in large part to the play of the OL. Three starters on the revamped OL were out and the depth is just not very good. But Denver was scraping of the bottom of the barrel too to field an OL too.

Hec I said after preseason this team is in trouble if we have injuries on the OL and now we have 3.

Need better depth, need a better defense. Tool up with talent and speed.

                    • Looking ahead at schedules
lots of division games left - but the non division games

Broncos have the Lions this week and Bengals at home
Chiefs get the Steelers at home and Bengals on the road
Raiders play the Browns on the road

Colts still have NE, Raiders and the Cardinals - not easy. And the AFCNorth - they all have some tough schedules ahead. I do not see a second team getting to 10 wins in that division.

Point being - a lot of games with teams fighting for the playoffs. Chargers need to take care of business for sure against the Giants and Texans - but if they can handle those two games - at worst 9-6 heading into the last two games...

                        Big game for the Bills.
If they win, they are #2 in AFC (behind TEN)
If they lose, they fall to #7 and the Chargers would be #5.
                        Am I all right ?

I think you are correct in that summation.
