The Raids made Ruggs the first WR off the board last year, in a draft that turned out to be really deep in WR talent. Justin Jefferson and Cee Dee Lamb went after Ruggs (and his 'Bama teammate Jeudy), and both are terrific receivers. Brandon Aiyuk, Tee Higgins, Michael Pittman Jr., Laviska Shenault, and Chase Claypool all were drafted from the late 1st round to the mid 2nd round. All of them have established themselves as good NFL WRs. The Broncos made Jeudy the 2nd WR chosen in the draft a few picks after Ruggs. Jeudy has only played in 3 games this season and has caught 6 balls total and no TDs. The Broncos double-dipped in the WR pool last season, drafting KJ Hamler in the 2nd round. Kamler is out with a season-ending injury.Comment

As far as I am concerned, Derek Carr is a piece of shit for being so quick to support Ruggs.
It is woke madness, not an example of righteous forgiveness.

For all his attributes, Carr continues to massively underwhelm me with a lack of leadership.
