The Bolts are #9 in total yards allowed, #7 in points allowed. And they are getting better as they grow more comfortable with Staley’s schemes and more consistently execute his expectations. Y’all can stop bitching about defense any time you’re ready to.

This was a statement win. Period. They crushed the Raiders on both sides of the LOS. Bitches here are just that. Eat it.

    Hats off to
    Staley
    Herbert
    Cook
    Eke
    Joey
    Derwin
    A2
    Nas
    Tranq
and our newest motherfucker: Merrill … welcome to LA!

Tremendous win by the Chargers. Yes, the third quarter was a tough one. But they kept it together. Covington with a huge sack forcing a long FGA and Staley keeping the foot on the gas

      Oline was strong running
Defense was fantastic in the first half
Raiders took away the WR so the TEs were big

And Staley - he is coaching to win instead of not losing

      the fake punt
      the two fouth down calls
      the challenge

So faro - so good through four games.

Wasn't it Covington who got that sack on Carr that killed their drive and forced a FG their kicker missed?

The fake punt. Is that something that Long called on the spot when he saw Campbell was uncovered? Or was it called by Staley? Does Long have free reign to make that call when he sees a situation when there is a high probability it will work? I hope they didn't get discouraged by the failure and stop doing it. It really was an exceptional play by a really smart player in Renfrow, who broke it up. Normally, that is not going to happen. I am more of a fan of running on a fake punt than passing it though. It seems less can go wrong.

Staley is an excellent decision maker and game manager.

            He is pro active.

He does not just stand there, freeze up, and let momentum slip through our fingertips.

There were several times last night when LAC grabbed the momentum back...a great, great sign of our future prospects in 2021.

Herbert and James stepped forward as our leaders.

Gruden is complaining about the visitor's locker room at Sofi. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...me/6001075001/

Bosa is really upset and NFL officiating. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...-officials-win

Yeah at least Herbert won’t get Lynn’d or McCoy’d.

Good point but I’m sure other teams watch film and see what he sees.

gonna get a big fine for that ref comment.

Derwin is such a difference maker on defense. My favorite player on the team and been that way since about game 4 of his rookie season. Maybe Game 2 when he picked off the Rams in the coliseum that year.

Herbert - guy has some skills and is only getting better. I see Herbert and I think the of Broncos and they passed on Josh Allen. What a lucky day that was for Bolts fans

Excellent post. It’s nice to have a HC where you feel like the guy really knows what he’s doing.

Haha that’s awesome. It’s especially rare coming from Bosa because he usually super low key off the field.

The unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on Bosa was crap too. I saw him getting held in the most obvious fashion, the OL basically had him in a headlock and the refs ignore it then had the audacity to penalize Bosa for asking about why they didn’t call the flag.
